Silicone bags are good buy
These are actually silicone. Many other bags advertised as silicone are actually PEVA. You have to read down to where it states the material the bags are made from.Dont judge from the title. I was impressed with the packaging before I even opened the box and saw the bags. They come in what could pass as a gift box. Great gift idea for those going plastic free like I am. They not only seal by pressing the sides together but also with a piece that slides across the bag for extra protection. I will designate one bag to store pasta sauce in the freezer. Note also the price is right. Others at this price are not really silicone. BTW hanging them to dry is best. I am using a dish rack that I bought on Amazon a few years ago but couldn't make work . The pegs are too short to support dinner or serving plates. It works for drying these bags.

Works for me!
Had to give it 4 stars and not 5 due to one of the bags not being able to be opened. The two smalls bags opened up without a problem. One of the big bags opened up with some coercion and careful pulling. The other was a different story. No matter how long I tried, or how careful i was that thing ripped. It seems like it was sealed too tight and no mold release was applied to the interior. Not sure. The product was 25% off, so its like they know 1 of the 4 were gonna be trash from the start.

Not easy to use. Sealing mechanism is bad
I don't like the sticks to seal the bags. I thought they were extra but they are the only thing holding them closed. I will definitely lose these. Also as someone mentioned in a different review the larger ones are glued closed half way down. I have not been able to open the m all the way without coming close to ripping them.

Thick, sturdy, and very reusable
These reusable silicone bags are very thick and sturdy, and for certain things they are superior to single-use ziptop bags. The material is thick enough that I don't worry about most foods puncturing the bags. The listing shows that they are NOT microwaveable. My initial test has been for fresh, homemade bread, which, due to having no preservatives, will tend to dry out or spoil very quickly. Yesterday I put two thick slices of bread that I baked into a bag once they were fully cooled to room temperature. This morning at breakfast I toasted those slices, and they were just as soft as they were yesterday. I consider that a huge win. I had a bit of trouble trying to open the stand-up gusset on the bottom of the bag, however. As to the slider bar, I don't have a problem using that. I would prefer to do that and *know* it's sealed than to make multiple attempts with a really thick zipper closure and not be entirely sure it's actually closed. I don't clean these in the dishwasher. I handwash and then invert over a drinking glass to air-dry.

Some Positives, Some Negatives
Let’s start with the positives: These are heavy duty silicone bags that can stand up to whatever food you put into them. They have a nice flexible bottom that can expand or lie flat. They are obviously good for the environment because they can be washed and reused, saving money and resources. And I like the zip top closure, no guesswork as to whether or not the seal is closed.Ok, so that leads us to our first negative: The claim is a “Secure and Leak-Proof Seal.” Well, it almost is, but when I tested it with plain water it held the upside down test except for the one corner of the sliding seal. It dripped. Now I think in most uses of this product this probably wouldn’t be an issue but it certainly cannot be called “secure and leak-proof.”The other negative, and this one is a little weird, is that on these two sizes there are measurement markings, in cups, mls, and fl ozs. On the two large bags the markings appear to be accurate. But on the two small bags the markings make no sense at all and should be ignored. I don’t think they are necessary in the first place, but it speaks to a quality control issue that these would be released like this.

Love packing my family’s sandwiches in these bags
These silicone bags come in very handy especially for things like sandwiches and foods with moisture and liquid. There are measurements on the bags which are in ml, ounces and 1/2 cups. As you can see in my photos the cups column is actually done in half’s so where it says 1 it’s equal to one 1/2 cup and so on. These bags don’t have built in closures like some, they need the plastic seal to securely close the bag. The silicone material is good quality and very thick and durable and with the plastic seal’s attached I haven’t had any leaking. I’ve found washing these out with fragrance free bottle soap to be best since soaps like Dawn can give the bags a soapy taste and smell, this is the case with all silicone. These bags are a bit pricey so I save and use them for things like thick sandwiches that would otherwise not fit in plastic ziplocks and things with high moisture since they handle liquids well.

Strong!
These Reusable Silicone bags are made from thick, sturdy, food grade silicone. I got these to replace Disposable Ziploc bags as a nod to protecting the environment. They caught my attention because they are reusable, dishwasher safe and can be used in the freezer or the refrigerator. They are also leakproof and can hold solids and liquids.I find these perfect for when I have half an onion left or some leftover veggie. I just grab a bag, fill it with my leftovers and use the slide to secure the bag. So far these bags hold no odors and clean up like new. I'm curious to see if they remain stain free. You get four bags of two different sizes with slides to secure closure. I have held these bags upside down with zero leakage. If these work out, they will be a game changer; in addition to them being great for the environment, they will be a tremendous value as I won't need to buy individual bags again.
