So much practical, insightful wisdom
I rarely write reviews on products, but I’m just over halfway through this book and already giving this book a review. I bought the book for my niece who graduates high school in a week, and I decided to read it first and highlight things I thought were especially noteworthy, things I hope and pray she grasps fully. I’m so glad I chose to read it. Each of the letters comes from a place of incredible depth and experience. Each letter takes me back to places in my own journey, putting into words things I’ve wanted to share with her but didn’t know how, and reminding me of lessons learned in the most humble and gentle of ways. While the circumstances may be somewhat different, the truths are applicable regardless. The thing is, Allison has not only reminded me of things I’ve learned through the letters in this book, she has shown me that I’m not alone in my thoughts and feelings. She has shown me the beauty in the journey, and shown me the real value in these experiences. I hope that my niece, having this treasure book of beautiful letters, continues to come back to these pages when she needs hope, encouragement, and inspiration.

4 Stars!
Twenty-Two was a purposeful read with lots of meaning, no matter your age. A collection of letters and while reading, you feel as you are joining a group of trusted friends sharing wisdom and kindness. So in all reality, all women need this book as a reminder and as a guide to life, love, grief and celebration. I encourage mothers, daughters, parents...read this book or buy this book for your future generations. To the future, 'be who you needed when you were younger.'

A must-read for all recent college grads
People always say that words have the power to change lives, and after reading Twenty Two Letters I couldn't agree more. This book was exactly what I needed to hear as a 22 year old recent college grad who wanted nothing more in life than to feel like I had purpose. Allison's words are filled with such beauty and wisdom, and her gentle advice simultaneously comforts and motivates the reader. This has become my go-to college graduation gift and I wish every young woman could get their hands on a copy!

This book talks a lot about the authors travels which I love and has inspired me to continue traveling and following ...
Some of the parts of this book are very deep and metaphoric, but it definitely makes me feel something in my soul. This book has drawn me closer to God. I am in fact a twenty two year old who doesn’t quite know what she’s looking for in life, and this book taught me that it’s ok to not know what I want. This book talks a lot about the authors travels which I love and has inspired me to continue traveling and following that passion! Great read!

Wow!
This book is perfect for a college student trying to figure out their purpose and meaning. I gave this book to my college roommate and she instantly fell in love with the novel. The only thing she did not like was the author is writing to her daughter and the perspective is weird at points. Overall, wonderful read!

A dose of real encouragement and timeless wisdom
Having lived through so many of the same experiences, pressures and expectations not too long ago, Twenty Two accurately depicts those life changing years. The book is filled with real adventures and encouragement. I found it to be relatable and funny but still hitting on all the key advice and life experiences that I want my little sisters and close friends to hear and learn from. A pre-ordered copy was waiting for my 21 year old sister, and I am ordering one for all the young women in my life that I live far from and need a boost of encouragement. I am also definitely gifting my soon to be 15 year old sister one because the advice is so timeless!

Pleasantly Suprised
I’ve never been a fan of books that were a collection of letters and I was very hesitant about buying this book. But from the get go, I was hooked. I laughed, I cried, and I learned a lot about myself along the way. As a college student, I felt like Allison was speaking directly to me the entire time. Her writing is so personable and direct that by the end of this book, I felt as if I knew her personally. Reading this book has influenced me to open my eyes wider to the world around me and search for greater meaning in my life.

Great Read
I loved reading this book on my way to and from placement. I wanted to read it before I turned 22 but I’m 23 and the principles still apply. I loved the letters between Allie and Ash and the wisdom they held. I loved all the quotes, many of of them already being favourites of mine. I think this book is great for any young woman (or man) who is learning about herself and just needs a big sister’s advice. I gave it 4 stars because it was a good and enjoyable read which made me stop and reflect, but it wasn’t perfect.

One of very few books with character.
Reading Twenty-Two Letters was a pleasure, even though the story is about the very purpose of life - a topic we normally find difficult to discuss as we get older.I have already been recommending the book to all of my friends and family and I will continue doing so.Thank you so much, dear Allison!
