My kid's office chair seat was starting to rip and wear, so I was looking for a new seat cushion (versus buying another chair) and stumbled across this product. I was intrigued by the simple design, that it was flexible, and looked like it would fit appropriately on the chair. The cushion itself is described as a gel cushion in the product details, but it's more like silicone waffling versus a gel feel. The double-sided design is key to provide sturdy, ample joint offloading and comfort. It would be easily cleaned if something spilled on it. The cushion comes with 2 cushion covers, with texturing on one side to limit slipping. Depending on the surface, some slippage may still occur, but for the most part, it does stay in place. It is not as thick as my prior foam cushion, allowing for better posture without lowering the chair height and having to readjust my workspace. I kept this cushion for myself! I can see this being used in a wide variety of scenarios, especially if someone has hip/back pain with sitting or sits for a long time and needs extra cushion. The price is affordable too. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Great affordable seat cushion. Has lasted me a while and it comes with 2 covers. I like that it is not too thick or too thin and the waffle pattern makes it breathable. Also able to fold it up and stuff it in my locker.

The comfort of this seat cushion is quite good. I like it. However, I wish the grippy material on the cover was more grippy. I it's kind of pointless (doesn't grip at all). It's almost more slippery than grippy.

I own a very pricey, super thick purple cushion to compare to. This is fine, but no where near that level of long term sitting comfort. This isn't going to be good for a heavy set person sitting at a desk 8 hours a day, but it will be just fine for a scraggly teen upgrading their cheap after school pc chair, or grandma at the breakfast table! It makes a world of difference, but you should pair this with a lumbar support cushion for pc sitting of course. For the right person who needs it, this is a 5 star product and extremely durable. Easy to clean, holds its color without fading, well made.I give it 5 stars because it is as described, looks like the product shone, is as thick as shown (not very thick compared to expensive products, but definitely good for its thickness) and there were no defects. It has stood the test of time and makes my 110 pound teen daughter not have any discomforts sitting at her desk for 3 hours of homework and gaming- where as before she couldn't sit for longer than 45 minutes because her favorite 'spinny chair' was flat and hard, just uncomfortable. We kept the favorite chair! Woohoo! It's the little things in life, right?After months of use, it's about exactly as purchased. If you're looking for this size of cushion, this one is great. If you're looking for something life changing due to extreme pain and not just 'this chair is uncomfortable' I would pay a bit more for something thicker, and with a more pronounced gap for tail bone pressure relief.

I know this thing looks promising, but it’s straight-up uncomfortable. The gel pattern is so rigid and segmented that it feels like you're sitting on an ice cube tray. No softness, no support, just awkward pressure points. It's going to be a hard pass for me.

This is the perfect thickness for using on a desk chair. It also comes with an additional cushion cover to be able to use while washing the other cover. The holes in the cushion allow for air to ventilate as well so you keep cooler during extended use.Note to readers: This is the first cushion I purchase so I do not have any other cushion to compare, however, I did notice significant difference in comfort between using the chair without the cushion and using it with.

This cushion is amazing! I originally bought it for my seat for work but it has a handle on it and I take it with me when I go anywhere that I will be sitting on a hard surface, like benches/bleachers! Just used it for the 4th of July and I was the only person who didn't have a sore tooshie! Definitely worth the buy!
