This was so simple to assemble! I really only had to put the bars together, pop those into the base, and pop the swing into the base. The direction of the swing’s routes are easily visible on the front of the base of the swing so it’s very easy to pick which you want to use. The swing’s ride is very smooth, no jerking movements or stalling at all. It would be hard to find a better swing for baby!

Everything worked as indicated except it only has one motion. Although the buttons and indicators show that I am cycling through various motions, the physical motion is always exactly the same.

Disclaimer - this is the first baby swing I've used/interacted with since, like, the early 1990s. I had high expectations after decades of technological advances in baby devices. My bottom line is that, while I like and appreciate this product, I find it to be underachieving.PROS:- Very easy and intuitive to assemble- Works...it rocks the baby back and forth, and at 5-different speeds.- My baby seems to like it for the most part and has successfully kept her calm at times.- Has music that is not annoying and whose volume is adjustable.- Has nature sounds.- Can be operated by remote control (battery included!) or by its base control panel.- Can be rotated 90-degrees to either left or right.- Not super bulky and doesn’t take up too much space.- Modern design and colors look good!- Safety harness works well.- Mosquito net and dangling toy included!CONS:- The 5-light indicator system on the front is very confusing. I don't know why they couldn't just add text to the buttons/lights. I'm trying to figure out how to raise and care for a newborn...I'd prefer not to have to use too much brain power and effort to learn how to use a baby swing at the same time.- They say they have 5 different motion options. I find them to essentially all be the same – back and forth while the chair is moved to the left and right. Why isn’t there a standard back-and-forth rocking motion (i.e. without the left-and-right motion)??- Even at its fastest, I find this swing to be rather slow, especially when compared to standard baby swings from the olden days.- The music cycles through each song (roughly 2-and-a-half minutes each), but then moves on to the nature sounds, which then continue cycling through. It would be better to have the music and nature sounds as separate things, able to be operated/selected individually. There is no way to just play one song/sound...it cycles through automatically with no way to stop that.- The remote doesn't work as well as I'd like. Sometimes I have to press the button multiple times before it actually registers, which is frustrating.- The safety harness is a bit difficult to unlatch. I almost injured my baby when my hand/thumb slipped trying to unlatch the harness!- I find the value of this product to be a bit lacking for all the issues I have with it.

There's nothing better than finding a great quality baby item that makes the newborn stage easier! This baby swing/rocker is a fantastic addition to any "new parent" arsenal. Not only is it well designed, but it compares very well with the higher-priced name brand... with the same result.It's movements are smooth and don't have that "jerky" movement that our far more expensive one developed after our first kiddo. It literally glides in its movements and allows for your tiny tot to relax and drift off to sleep. It has 5 settings to choose from, so there are options to try if your baby prefers more (or less) movement. Not only that, but there are various sound settings built in (which we use allllllll the time).I like the included remote (although it took time to figure out the buttons/options), as I'm able to remain working on tasks/chores nearby without having to walk over and make changes/selections. SCORE!Our family DEFINITELY recommends this baby swing/rocker, as it's a great comp to the name brand... but with a smaller footprint. 10/10 recommend. GREAT GIFT IDEA!
