Is it true that bay leaves can be used to keep roaches and mice away?

I can't say for sure on roaches and mice, but it definitely repels ants. I boil a few leaves in a small pot of water, put in a spray bottle and spray around where the ants seem to come from and they go away.

Is this Pimenta racemosa? Yes or no?

West Indian Bay Leaves..Based on their names they are the same bay leaves however I watched in you tube that they differs from each other that is why I am confused too..actually this one doesn't have the same smell as the small bay leaves I am using for cooking. What is the best storage method?

Hi, I store my bay leaves with a gallon storage bag placed on top of the bag in a dry place. Also one can use a large plastic container like the tupper ware kind.😎
