I've had this camera almost 6 months and love it. It's already saved me twice. A must have for me

The media could not be loaded.  This is a pretty cool bodycam in a lot of ways. Of the few bodycams I own that are not actually used for law enforcment, this has been a pretty good one. The layout of the buttons make it easy to operate, especially once you use it for a while and know the button functions by touch.Mine did not come with a micro-SD (aka TF) card. Don't think it was supposed to when I ordered it.The menu is easy to navigate and setup and I was able to do the initial setup in 3 minutes. Videos are recorded in the .MOV format which I had no problems reading/using on MacBook Pro and Windows 10. Images are taken in .JPG. Video settings can be adjusted from 480p @ 30fps to 1296p @ 30fps. The upper resolution eats up a lot of memory: a clip that was about 50 seconds long for me was 800MB (nearly a gigabyte per minute). You can setup loop recording so that oldest videos are overwritten first if you run out of memory while using the bodycam. You can have it take a serious of photos. Lots of options.It also has an audit log feature that will record a date stamp of when the power on & off functions were activated as well as when the camera was set to record and the time it was shut off.The camera does not move at all, unlike one I have that allows the camera to swivel so this one is more like a traditional action cam or LEO bodycam.There are a ton of features on this bodycam but two I thought were interesting were a laser pointer and a siren. The laser pointer is useful but the siren and lights is more for fun or a gimmick. In my video you can see in the reflection both being used. The laser is a red dot laser that is good for pointing out something or driving a cat or dog nuts as they chase the dot around. The siren is loud and flashes red and blue lights - touch the button to turn on, touch again to turn off sired sound, and touch again to turn the flashing lights off.The bodycam uses a standard cold foot mount to attach one of 2 clips that are included, much like a DSLR camera or a camera rig would have. I found clips in my stash using the hot/cold foot mounts what would allow me to attach an action camera mount or a tripod mount, extending the usefulness of this bodycam beyond wearing it on my person via a pocket/belt/harness clipI recommend this bodycam.

This is a fairly compact body camera that can be used by anyone for any reason. I got it for my husband since he likes to be out in nature and exploring new places to find inspiration for his videos. With this camera on him, he is able to record things that happen at the spur of the moment and it's also recording for his safety, just in case. The images come out looking clear with only a bit of glitching or lagging every now and then. The user manual is easy to understand and after using the camera few times, it becomes easier to use and understand. The actual camera is not too heavy and does not feel cheap. I would recommend this camera for a first time user looking for an affordable body camera without all the bells and whistles.

So the video comes out very good for the price but the battery life is garbadge it was down to one bar out of four after 7 hours of it sitting on standby with screen off (no recording or anything going on). When you do record the audio sucks big time you have to be right next to someone to hear whats is being said when you play it back if they are more than 8 feet away you cant hear whats is being said on any play back I have played after testing the camera out.

I am impressed with this body camera. I like the size which is large enough to operate and wear, but not so large that it is bothersome. The picture quality is good. It does have some fish eye lens effect, but that is typically with just about all body cameras. The focus is good. However it lagged slightly, but only during very speedy movement situations. Night vision works very well (on mine I had to turn it to “auto” under IR Filter in the menu).Audio quality is decent and clear. Audio seems to pick up best when near the unit. Pictures are also clear. Photos are in .JPG format; audio is in .WAV format; and video is in .MOV format. Everything is recorded to a micro SD card that my WIN11 computer had no issues reading.The battery lasts for a long time. I didn’t let it run completely out of battery, but I had it on most of the one day and it was fine and still reading that half the battery was left at the end of the day. (I typically charge up all my electronics at night and kept forgetting to let this camera out to see the true battery life. I think it’s plenty).Physically, the camera is built great. The buttons require a gentle push to activate. The frame is a good solid molded plastic and feels like it can take a bump. The menu for changing settings is easy to understand and operate. It comes with a couple of clips for attaching to your clothing. It does not come with a micro SD or TF card. I used a 32GB TF card in mine and it worked fine.I have one wish list item for this camera. I wish there was a way to also wear it in a different mount like an action cam. The little back clip is secure, but I feel like an action camera mount is more secure.Overall, this is a great body camera. Five stars.
