Perfect fit
These fit perfect, once you find a better screwdriver to get the OEM screws out with. The screwdriver that mine came with is useless. But most screwdrivers that are included with things are cheap soft metal that rarely do what they are included with to do. But I was able to find a good screwdriver in my collection and with some force and a lot of support to avoid breaking something I was able to break the screws free. The covers fit perfectly and so add a little coolness too.

At first glance, great idea. real world not so much.
Living in AZ, I thought it a good idea to have protection for the motors from sand etc. In spite of my electronic/automation background, it completely eluded me that covering the motors would be a bad thing.Electric motors generate a great deal of heat, even worse, operating in triple digit temps just adds to that situation. Adding covers to the motors preventing the cooling action of the rotors and of flight, should be, a no brainer. It was not five minutes after lift off that this did occur to me and I landed and removed them immediately! I found it ironic that the covers are red as they had become very hot.Other reviews pointed out issues with installation locking the blades not allowing free rotation. This is bad enough, but when you add drag to the already bad situation of reduced or no air flow, one thing is certain. With use of these covers your motors will overheat and die, plain and simple.I should have known better, but the excitement of outfitting a new drone was too much and I did it anyway. I hope people can learn from my poor choice, and not cause damage to an expensive drone in the attempt to make it better. The drone was designed the way it is for a reason, sometimes what sounds good/better will not look so good in the end.

Good product.
They're aluminum easy to put on, they look like they'll work if I ever needed them to protect the motors. Better safe than sorry I always say.

Excellent Protection
In spite that one of the recommendations is not to fly while raining, these protectors provide an excellent choice to cover the nude motor copper wires…

Made the motors cut out intermittently.
Do not add these to your drone. Created a scenario where the motor stopped intermittently. I learned to leave the motors alone. Do not cover air cooling vents. Made the motors cut out intermittently, my drone was saved only be the remaining motors that didn't cut out. Ive stopped using and have not seen this error since and it's been months now.
