Used this a lot and had no problems

Suitable for Surface Pro but needs time
Work replaced my surface pro when it broke but I needed a new usb c cable to connect to my wga dell monitor quickly at a reasonable price as I wasn't supplied this. When I plugged it in duplicated the screen but the it did not allow the screen to extend despite me switching it on and off. After an evening the laptop being switched off the settings worked. It doesn't work as quickly as say a amazon brand connector but the picture is good, delivery is fast, quality finish and connecctors and the price is great so I'd recommend

Works a treat on a Macbook Pro
Small piece of kit that just works. had it about a week and very happy so far. 4 stars because there have been occasion where waking the Mac from sleep has caused the monitor resolution to a bit iffy (this could easily be the monitor I suppose). Unplugging and replugging the adapter sorts it immediately

Good product
It looks great and not cheap, it does the job just fine - works straight out of the box. Good picture. No issues at all. I've always had a great experience with Benfei products and the price is excellent as well compared to similar adapters.

So handy and also inexpensive
Needed a way to get external screens onto my Microsoft Surface Book. Bought the MS Surface Dock which has a pair of USB C connectors for use with Displays and bought a USB C to HDMI Adapter and a USB C to VGA Adapter (this item). Both work great and for the price are a great low-cost solution.

Maskeert gegevens van het scherm
Deze adapter werkt op zich, maar maskeert de EDID van het scherm: ik heb twee identieke Dell E2009W schermen. Allebei via een USB-C -> VGA adapter aangesloten. Via de ene adapter worden beide schermen door zowel een recente MacbookPro als door een Lenovo Chromebook herkend met de correcte (best passende) resolutie, merk en type; via de andere (waar deze review over gaat) krijg ik alleen een generieke set resoluties te zien, waarvan geen enkele dus echt scherp beeld geeft, omdat ze /net/ niet de best passende zijn. (dit komt door het niet herkennen van het device ID, zodat computers niet weten waar ze mee van doen hebben). Dus: prima als je scherm 1600x1900 kan hebben. 1680x1050 gaat niet werken.
