Love it. Makes great coffee quickly, and stays HOT in the carafe- doesn't get burned or overcooked.Having one unit for a pot of coffee or a cup just shows better!

Do not buy
Does not make hot coffee. I tried to get help with this problem but none given or available.I bought 2 of these for shower gifts and they are both faulty and do not make hot coffee.Do not recommend!

Great Carafe - Mediocre Coffee Maker
Replacing an older (5 years) coffee maker. After 4 1/2 years the predecessor to this model began to leak from the single-serve part as well as leaks from the bottom. We have a whole house filtration system so no minerals to cause rust and we replace the coffee maker's filters per recommendations. This replacement model has a slight improvement in the diameter of the water-fill as well as sturdier controls. Brewing is decent enough for the price range. I rate it 4 stars because there are few coffee makers with the stainless carafe, and that really keeps the coffee warm. Otherwise, I find this as well as far too many Cuisinart products we've owned as mediocre at best.

LEAKING CARAFE
Coffee maker is good except the carafe is terrible. LEAKY !!! checked time and again...no matter what it leaks. After spending over two hundred dollars, when the product is not functioning as it should be IT DISAPPOINTS me. Poor design for sure.

A returned item
The coffee pot/cake cup pot that I purchased was not exactly what I needed. Once I used it, I realize that the warming plate for the coffee pot had no control. Once the coffee is made, it cuts off the coffee in the thermal pot only stayed warm for about 30 minutes. Not what I wanted.
