Wow! En 8 x 2.5G och 1x 10G switch för detta priset! Har inte stresstestat den men verkar funka ok. Dock är ingen enhet jag kopplat till den snabbare än 1G. Men har en 2.5G koppling till switchen. Byggkvalitén verkar hög.

Nice switch, great price! I used this switch in my home network, connecting several devices. My internet is FIOS with 2gig service, so I needed something more than a gigabit switch. I also have a NAS, and wanted to see if I could combine the 2 NAS ports to get a little more speed out of the NAS gigabit ports. Overall I'm very happy with this switch since it's worked great without any problems, and properly detects connection speeds and doesn't seem to be picky about cable type or length. I'm getting full rated speeds, which is what I expected and what I got. Highly recommended for an easy network upgrade, when paired with devices that have 2.5G or 10G network connections!

Funciona muy bien

The TRENDnet TEG-S591 has been working quite well replacing a Netgear GS108. I wanted an affordable, cool (temperature), 8-port switch (settled with 9 ports ;)) that supports at least 2.5G and found it. The switch is barely warm. I have a mix of 1G and 2.5G connections to it and have not seen any connection drops or errors. It is a little longer than the Netgear, but I have plenty of room for it. It feels solid with a good weight to it as the case is metal, not plastic. Cons (but mild): - I wish the ports were faster than 2.5G, but my current setup would not be able to use it anyway. At least, I can use the 10G port for the upstream connection (5G). - The orientation of the connectors has the latch on the bottom. I prefer it on the top like the Netgear has because it makes it much easier to press with your thumb downwards upon the latch for those troublesome connectors. - Having the LED above each port would be better instead of having to match the LED matrix to the left of all the ports to a specific port. One very important piece of information left out of the product documentation, TRENDnet's own website and the Amazon page: the 10G port also supports 2.5G and 10G. Zoom into the picture for the product, and you will see it listed on the front of the switch. I have a BrosTrend 5G (RTL8126) NIC connected to it which negotiated to 5G.
