This is a common design of tool, highly versatile and considered the most useful tool of all by the YT Channel "The Honest Carpenter". The quality of individual tools vary and this particular version is excellent: A beautiful piece of shaped steel with a shiny finish that will encourage you to keep it clean (which, because it does have such a fine finish, is easy). I now keep it with me for whatever DIY task I am performing - it really is extremely useful. It is sturdy, solid, smooth or sharp depending on how it is used and is highly recommended.
