Plain Chocolate Covered Roasted Coffee Beans 500 gram Bag (1/2 Kilo)

wow! at first I was nervous about buying an unbranded product for my mums birthday, but I had to try just for the amount of money I would save. we were not disappointed! these are just as good as the ones you get from certain big brand coffee shops, only without the huge price markup!

I love choc coffee beans and think it's such a shame they can't be found in the shops these days. Luckily some suppliers still stock them for buying online, for which I'm grateful. To my delight, these arrived very quickly but when I tipped them into a jar it was clear they were in a bad way. Most were fine, still shiny and tasted terrific but there were a significant number that looked very old, were mishapen and whitened, as if they'd melted and resolidified or were just ancient. The seller assured me their storage facilities are cooled so it must have happened on route but, given how quickly they arrived, I have my doubts. No replacement was offered

I bought these to go on top of Nigella's Chocolate Christmas Cake and they were the best value I could find. The upside of that was that I had a 500g bag, and only needed a couple of handfuls for the cake, so we had to eat the rest as treats. Yum! I've been tempted to buy some more just to snack on. If you enjoy a good ground coffee taste, and some crunch in your chocolates, these are for you. (Remember that they are actual roasted coffee beans inside the chocolate, so you'll get a very crunchy mouthful - probably something to bear in mind if you have dental reasons to avoid hard foods.)

The chocolate wasn’t too bad but the beans were hard and crunchy as though burnt, not at all like others I have had. Don’t think I shall buy again!!

bought as a gift for a coffee (and chocolate) lover, well received. packaging is a little funky as it's a bulk order, so it comes just in a plain plastic bag inside a cardboard box

These were delivered on 30/4/22, shows it expired on 23/4.

These actually arrived in the original time frame but I have to say delivery notifications from Evri really generated a lot of confusion. So I’m delighted with the product and the service from supplier. But I think Amazon support and Evri delivery service should really up their game. If you order these in good time and aren’t in a rush then no sweat. If you’re in a rush be prepared for some frustration.
