Awesome Design
I wanted something extraordinary for transporting cards and found it in this box. Like the wood feeling, everything as described and yet still good to transport. Most of all.. it is that kinda decorative that my wife is also happy with "cards" now standing in the living room :)

I absolutely love this box
I absolutely love this box, it is very well made and looks stunning. My only criticism is that I think it is a little bit over priced and think it should be at the £10.00 mark.

Difinitely 10/10
The box is amazing, so mhch better than the cheap plastic ones I've used. Patterns on top are gorgeous and love the space designed for dice!

Good function, poor form
While the box itself is certainly very sturdy, the quality of its construction lacks the care and attention it deserves; from rusty metal to over-tightened screws damaging the metal and poor alignment of the latches, the box lacks a "polished" feel.First off, let me start with the design of the box. It's visually stunning; stained wood, nice framing, it certainly does what it sets out to in design. Hell, even the slight rust on the metal fits the design and adds a little something - a bit of aging. But it's in the attention to detail that all the pros are lost. The front trim of the lid is too tall, creating a small lip that sticks up. The parts of the front trim that were cut were not sanded, leaving splinters of wood breaking off. The topmost latch for the dice compartment was haphazardly slapped on, making the latch not align properly and rub when opening/closing. Every single piece of metal furniture has at least one over-tightened screw that has bent the metal out of shape. Now the functionality of the box, the bit that matters the most. The sturdy construction certainly ensures that whatever you put inside will be well protected. I bought this to house my newest Magic deck, which will be my "blinged" out foil deck, and I have no concerns the cards will ever risk damage when stored in this box. The dice compartment is plenty large; I currently have two Commander Anthology spinning life counters, six spindown D20s and a full set of D&D dice stored in mine and it all fits snugly. The bit I don't like about the design is how top heavy it ends up being. While it's not a major issue, as you're only ever really picking up the box to get a deck out or put it away, it would've been nice if the dice compartment was underneath the deck as opposed to on top, as the weight of the dice and size of the compartment tips the box over while open. All in all, if what you wanted was a flawless piece to store a deck in, this is not the box for you. However, if you're okay with some flaws in the detail and just want a sturdy wooden box that's a bit flashier than a typical deckbox, this is a fantastic choice.
