Great for class, not for bookshelf
This book really came in hand for the class it was required for, but, aside form that, I saw no reason to keep it in my personal collection.

Good introduction
This was one of the textbooks for a class I took. It's a good introduction to the subject. I would have liked to see more details in some of the examples -- specifically where the case, aspect, or tense being discussed is not part of English grammar. Because it can be difficult to grasp these foreign concepts, it would be helpful to devote a little more space to thoroughly explaining and demonstrating them. Nevertheless, it's a good source for basic information about the general principles of morphology.
