Good replacement

This feels like a very nicely made part, and externally looks the same as the OEM part from what I can tell.The problem is that it doesn't come with the retaining ring that actually secures it to the bumper. If you're buying this, it's probably because you've either replaced an aftermarket bumper with the OEM one, or you're replacing an OEM one that's rusted out. Being in Ohio, I'm in the latter camp.Because it doesn't come with the retaining ring that goes on the back side of the bumper, you can't actually secure this part to the bumper. It may fit snugly with friction, but that's only going to keep it in place for so long.If you have an intact ring from a broken cover/housing, then I believe this would probably be a solid option for you. Otherwise, if you don't, you'll need to try and find the ring separately or buy one that includes it. If the manufacturer/seller decides to include this for future sales, then they'll have a 5-star product on their hands.

This spare tire access house cover does exactly what you would expect. The manufacturing looks and feels solid. The unit slips right in the access hole and it is held in place with a compression fit. Although the fit is pretty tight, I could potentially see it working loose from road vibration over time. I put a little 3M double sided tape on the mounting surface to address that concern. Overall, this is a simple quality piece of equipment that'll get the job done on the off chance that you need to access your spare tire on your gmt800 series.
