I've installed all of my smokedetectors in about one hour time. Very easy to get them identified and connected. Why I bought these from the UK store? This was the only one I could find where this system had the English spoken service. Because these smokedetectors tell you where the incident is. All the other stores only sold the German language supported detectors. One small setback - although this is the most recent version of smokedetectors in the X-Sense family- there is no EU certificate available. BUt I'm very happy with these nice looking detectors. Taking into account I bought these at a moment where there was an important discount, these recent versions were not al that more expencive then a regular detector. Important to mention: they connect to a very easy to use App. Through the App you can check the battery status, the connectivity and you can test the devices regulary. Haven't regret this purchase one minute

Delighted with the operating range and reliability of this Xsense system, combining fire, CO, and intruder security.We had local-linked Xsense fire alarms before and never a false trigger, replacing them all with this latest technology and internet-connected hub for peace of mind whilst away on holiday. Verbal announcements of the triggered unit are a welcome nice touch, as you'd hardly want to fumble with the phone for information in the event of an emergency.I have the base unit attached to the kitchen wall (rear of house bordering the garden), covering all installed alarms around the house and garden shed/workshop about 15m away.I therefore now have both PIR intrusion detection and fire alarm in the workshop, as well as all rooms of the house, and added a linked keypad to conveniently enable home/remote modes.The app is also quite well thought through and easy to use, able to confirm and control status of all connected alarms and online status.The system could really do with a weatherproof keypad however.

I liked how easy it was to install, and how it connected first time to the X-Sense heat alarm in the kitchen and the Sbs50 base station. I bought it for the garage, where I charge up batteries for my electric bike and electric lawnmower. My garage is separate from the house, and I was worried it might not get a wireless signal for the Internet. The App shows the signal strength and testing from the garage was simple. Setting up the voice alarm did not give an option for the word "garage", so I used the word "workshop". Presumably because smoke alarms are not recommended in a garage because exhaust fumes from the car would activate the alarm. I never put my car in there. I am not totally convinced this alarm would give me sufficient notice if a lithium battery caught fire.

Moved house and the old alarms needed an update. Purchased this set as well as additional alarms which are compatible with the base station.Installation is a breeze to sync them to the base station and they look great on the ceiling compared the old ones.The only thing I would add is the ability to test all smoke alarms at the same time for the interlinked function, can only test individual alarms at the moment.Many people underestimate the importance of having well functioning fire alarm system. I have nearly every room in the house now covered.
