Oh K!Gold Foil Sheet Mask

Great product

The things we do for soft skin; pluck, poke, smear, burn and prod, but this is the first type using a mask that makes you look like something from Flash Gordon. The 'Oh K! Gold Foil Sheet Mask' itself comes in a pack that contains the intense moisturising liquid and is a little wet and drippy when you pull it out. You then have the task of removing the film from the mask so that it is ready to place on your face. Not all of this is particularly clear as the instructions are not the greatest. We were not sure if you were meant to allow the mask to dry slightly of the excess before using it; we did as it would have been a bit too messy otherwise. You are now ready to go and it has to be said that the scent is not unpleasant.Going through a bit of mess and trauma is not the worst thing, if the product works. In this case the intense moisturiser does do a decent job. There is obviously enough moisture in the mask to hydrate your face and if you skin is dry to start off with, you will get a softer result. I am not convinced though that the result is any better than the normal intense moisturiser you can add; which is a quicker and cleaner process. This 'Oh K!' mask is as much about the pamper is it is the result. You are meant to enjoy the process of lying back and enjoying the scents coming from the mask. This is certainly possible, if you rid some of the excess off the mask; just remember to do so, or deal with the feeling of cold liquid slowly seeping down your neck.

I wasn't particularly impressed by this foil sheet 'glowing skin' face mask. The mask is a thin foiled sheet covered in clear gel. Despite the quantity of plant extracts included in the composition of the gel, it doesn't really smell very nice. The sheet comes out of the packet very wet, but leaves a significant amount of the gel behind. The foiled mask is stiffer than other sheet masks I've tried and doesn't lie very well on the face, leaving gaps with fluid gel running down. With the cut outs for the eyes nicely aligned the section below the nose and for the mouth didn't fit well at all.For me, though the real disappointment was that after using this my skin didn't look or feel any better, softer or more hydrated than after using a gentle facial scrub/mask. I received this as a free trial - but definitely would not buy it in the future. The price point is prohibitive for the lack of results I experienced.

To be fair I'm yet to find a face mask which isn't slimy and unwieldy when removing it from the package! The gold effect is cute and the face mask itself was very relaxing and gave great moisture to the face. The smell I really can't remember, which is why I gave it a lower rating. This would be great for a girls pamper night or pre-night wedding prep with the girls.

Nicely fragranced Oh K! Gold Foil Sheet Mask is lovely to use, which I sorted out how actually to put it on my face to get full advantages of this face mask.First of all, you must peel the foil off from the backing sheet, this allows it to fully mould into your face, personally I loved the coolness and the fragrance was so relaxing I fell asleep with it on.I loved how soft it left my skin feeling, silky smooth and my skin was simply glowing afterwards.Nice skin product which I will be buying more of.Happy to recommend.

Lovely novel product! A moist gold foil sheet which you apply to your face- press it on once you have unwrapped it from the package; rest 15-20 mins and remove , and voila soft skin ! Has a light fruity fragrance and my skin was definitely softer and brightened - it contains some pure gold! however I was not impressed by the packaging - it was fiddly to extricate the mask and I feel its a bit expensive!

The mask itself is a bit enigmatic. Took me ages to work out which bit went next to your skin, so I think the instructions could be clearer. Apart from that, the liquid it is soaked in is lovely and there's loads of it to use later should you just throw the mask away and have liquid left in the pouch. A nice fragrance and a nice feel.

Unlike other products made by the same company, this one does not have massivenely excess packaging. It’s nice enough-a mask that you peel off and place on your face. There’s loads of product so it’s a bit drippy and it has a small amount of gold listed on the ingredients. In reality, once applied, it looks like you have covered yourself in gold foil. Face was glowy and soft afterwards but not particularly moisturised andvit didn’t clear up breakouts. Three stars are for the novelty value!
