He pretty much destroyed anything leather he got his paws on. You can imagine what Dash did to an old wallet. But thanks to the little pup, I decided to design and Kickstart the original product that has led to this mens wallet brand. Since then, we have launched 6 Kickstarters and delivered over 250,000 wallets to 95 different countries. NOTE: This wallet takes 1-2 weeks to break in and mold to your cards. It is best to put two cards, like and ID and Credit Card into the front slot to mold it faster for easier quickdraw of card. Dash Wallets helps to keep your bulk to an absolute minimum. The perfect credit card wallet for men. Carry what you need and access it easily. Bringing you a thin minimalist any pocket wallet. Not just any card holder. It is constructed using only one piece Premium Canvas with a nylon lining. All edges are precisely oiled to prevent fraying of the materials.

Really like the concept but some issues as others have reported
Really like the concept but the wallet has some issues as others have reported. I have the vertical DASH design (which allows you to easily access your card chip without needing to completely remove your card to do so).Pros:1. Slim2. Has RFID protection (black version only)3. Slim4. Has a non-RFID protection side (this could be bad too I suppose)Cons:1. Slightly too long which complicates accessing cards from inner pockets2. Accessing stored cash is cumbersome as you have to really dig into the wallet to obtain your cash3. Because the wallet is completely black without any sort of orientation mark, there's no easy way to know which side of the wallet is open for access and which side is closedI do have some experience with these types of minimalist wallets (as I originally owned the BASICS wallet). The BASICS wallet allowed for easy access of you cards, was very small, but I found that you really had to fold your cash up in narrow folds to use it. Unfortunately the wallet was so good at being small, I eventually lost it (and everything in it).I already decided that I liked the minimalist wallet concept so I wanted to find a wallet that allowed for easy access of my primary card (which I use 95% of the time) and a decent cash pocket that didn't necessitate me using origami techniques to get it in the wallet. The DASH looked like the answer.First off, I have the vertical design which should allow me to access my primary card chip quickly (which I will call the "easy access pocket").. Many credit card swiping machines (except at gas stations) are now moving away from swiping and now asking for CC chip access. Eventhough I really like the concept of the easy access pocket, as others have mentioned, I found that the easy access pocket has its problems. Mainly this is due to your card getting hung up on the backside material of the easy access pocket and not allowing the card to slide out I fixed this by cutting a piece of cardboard the width of a credit card, but the length of the wallet pocket and putting it in the pocket right behind the easy access pocket. This reduces the backside material scrunching up against your easy access credit card increasing the chance that your card will come out smoothly when you need to access it. DASH should really make the backside material of the easy access pocket more rigid and smooth to reduce friction and binding of your primary card.Next, I put a Tile Slim in my wallet to help me with finding my wallet in the future should I accidentally misplace it. I can report that even though the front-side of the DASH wallet is RFID, the backside is not, therefore the Tile Slim can still get communicate with your phone via BT signals. Also, it allows you to put and use a sensor badge in the backside pocket of the wallet. Badge security cards are used at many job sites now, so putting the badge in the wallet and allowing me to raise it to the sensor and work is important to me. Speaking of RFID, Amazon should make it much clearer to the consumer that the Blue version of the wallet is non-RFID. I didn't realize this until reading the comments. Finally, storing cash. As mentioned with the BASIC wallet, this was a PIA. With the DASH, I find that the width of the pocket is good for storing cash, but it's too long. Many times, its hard to access my cash quickly because it moves to the bottom of the pocket making it hard to access. If I were DASH, I'd make a cash specific pocket that was the same width as the wallet but 1/2 or 3/4 the size of the wallet to allow me to quickly access my cash.I've only had this wallet for a week so it may be that it grows on me, and/or I move on to another wallet. Hopefully my cheap fix for the quick access credit card pocket works well. I'm thinking the leather for that pocket will start to loosen up a bit and make sliding the card in and out easier the more I use it. I'll report back after a month or so and let everyone know what I think.

Great Minimal Wallet
In my opinion, the Dash 4.0 wallet is an excellent buy!!! It is extremely light weight, even when I carry an ID plus five(5) credit cards plus cash. It is really comfortable for front pants pocket, and goes practically unnoticed while sitting in a chair or Drivers seat of a vehicle. The wallet is well constructed and it's great knowing that my cards are RFID protected. The pockets for your cards, cash etc. are deep making it hard for cards/ cash to slip out.I do have one suggestion , and that is it would be really great if Dash could incorporate a pull tab to make retrieving cards etc. easier from the other pockets. The thumb/finger slot is excellent for ones card of frequent use.I would highly recommend the Dash Co. RFID Blocking Slim Travel Wallet 4.0 for oneself and I think it be an excellent gift for men or women who wish to carry a minimal wallet. The Pricing is extremely excellent!!!

Poor quality; no longer usable due to black gunk
I was initially pretty happy with this wallet. I could only comfortably fit two credit cards into the pocket that allows you to slide cars out, but I could fit plenty into the two fabric pockets. However, after using the wallet for a week or two, I was not happy at all. I've had the following problems:- The stitching is coming undone. Both the stitching around the credit card window and the stitching around the edges of the wallet.- The wallet does not retain its original nice shape; it begins to get deformed, especially at the top and bottom where cards slide in/out.- Fibers/threads stick out from the inside of the credit card window.- The wallet picks up pocket lint along the edges.- WORST, black gunk gets stuck to the top credit card from inside the wallet and prevents me from sliding the card out. I have cleaned the card repeatedly, but after sitting in the wallet for an hour or so, the card gets stuck and has be forcibly pulled out. That's one of the big selling points of this wallet: the ability to conveniently slide out your most frequently used credit card(s). But I can't do that because of the black gunk.I got excited about this wallet and threw away the packaging too quickly, so I do not know if I can return it. I am not happy with this purchase at all. I think it would be a great wallet if it were constructed with better materials, but as it is, I can't use it.I will update this review based on DASH's response, if I receive any.

OK wallet, nice easy access to 3 cards. Thats about it.
The DASH Co. Slim Wallet 4.0 is okay. I don't know if I misunderstood or just didn't read it correctly but I thought the front and back were going be the leather, I'm not a huge fan of the stretchy material that 2/3 of the wallet is made of. The quick access pocket is nice, it is easy to quickly retrieve my cards. However I have found that 3 cards are better than 2 because when only 2 were in it they were loose. With the 3 it is a snug fit and I can easily get o all 3 cards. I do like the size of it but the size and easy access of the few cards are about all I like. Cash can be a little difficult to remove, which can be a good thing, but it sinks to the bottom of the pocket which makes it a little inconvenient to get to. My main disappointment in the wallet is that the 2nd pocket for the rest of my cards is not tight enough. I guess I could add more to the pocket but that defeats the purpose of a minimalist wallet designed to lighten the load. I have 7 or 8 cards in the middle pocket and they seem to work their way out so every time I take my wallet out I am having to push the cards back in. All in all an OK wallet, ill use it for a year or so and try another one.

I’ve had the Ridge and the Wallum before and i like the feel and the praticality of the Dash better
My go to wallet now. I’ve had the Ridge and the Wallum before and i like the feel and the praticality of the Dash better. I can pull out my 2 fav cards more easily and i can store some change on this one. moreover my keys don’t clank on the wallet like the 2 other ones.
