Amazon = Awesome Forget RGB, UV lighting is the best option, these are proper ultra violet.
Wether you have UV tubing or coolant, these UV strips are pretty damn good. These also look tasteful and not tacky like inaccurate RGB lighting, theres just no happy medium, if your motherboard is completely loaded with RGB lighting like my Aorus x470 gaming7 wifi motherboard then these strips are a change for the better, i do not want a christmas tree on my desk with no hope of ever getting a proper white colour i like things to be subtle and classy, this is where UV lighting is the king. Every part of my motherboard shows a different tint of white which looks absolutely horrendous, RGB lighting needs to be calibrated otherwise it looks terrible, however UV lighting never presents such problems, if you want UV white you will get it and it will look 10 times better, ive already desoldered the leds from my motherboards ram slots and removed the ram slot diffusers as they looked so tacky and un-uniformed in colour, this is what happens when you run each individual led at exactly the same voltage, green and blue leds need less power than red to achieve the same brightness, this is why pure white is impossible unless the correct resistors are fitted. Gigabyte is not immune to this issue, all motherboard makers do this, they just slap leds everywhere and expect them to just magically work properly. These strips are really nice in my Lian-Li dynamic case, one across the top and one on the front pillar, both are unseen when the glass panels are fitted, you just get the lovely glow of the UV coolant and motherboard accents (orange) I dont think sunbeam make UV cold cathodes any more so UV leds are the only option, these are only marginally dimmer than cathodes which hadnt used to be the case, up until recently they were pretty terrible in comparison but now they are actually much better. but dont fall for buying cheap UV leds from eb*y they do not work and have very low bandwidth, grab a pair of these they are 10x better, you can control the brightness from 9 to 14.2 volts DC to taste, as they are magnetic your case cools them. These are 12watts so they are extremely bright and efficient in light output. Please dont use them in a white case though or everything will light up, stick to using them in a black chassis as then you wont see any purple light at all. I always use black antec P12 12cm fans in my machines and paint the fan blades with UV reactive enamel paint, they look bloody amazing with these lights, also painted the removable heatsinks from my corsair vengeance RGB ram too. much more tasteful than the overpriced RGB tat found on eb*y, amazon are the kings in quality products and speedy delivery, no other company touches them. Do i recommend these? hell yes, theyre extremely good quality with excellent light output, theres absolutely no need to use cold cathodes any more these are better and draw much less current. these are so good actually they light up my livingroom ceiling light cover blue from 10 feet away.

Great item
Given a 5* rating as perfect for my use-case. Cons - Molex connex; So finding a switch solution will be necessary for those that desire manual control over their lighting. - Magnetic hold is too weak to retain the cord interface area at the very end of the strip flat to the case if the cable run is tight or needs to be at an acute, tightly stretched angle. This can be mitigated by carefully planning out the cable routing and adjusting so the run doesn't pull on the end as much. Pros - The coverage is great and if your case / build allows for a clear LOS from one side, one strip may well be enough. (my rad + tube placements meant one strip wld be overshadowed, so part of the loop was very slightly less illuminated this was resolved by using the second strip ofc) - Flexible nature of the strip made it easy to adjust and align in tight or thin areas - Packaging was simple + effective - Delivery very quick - Smelled nice (not rlly a joke btw) Would i recommend to someone who wants UV in their case? Absolutely! Well worth the money

Just the job
With bits of the old case falling apart and one eye on a system rebuild in the near future, I decided to acquire a new case to transfer my old i7 self-build into. The new case had a transparent side panel and better cable management features than the old case allowed. The end result was that the view from the side panel was of a rather neat looking system -even if I do say so myself. I decided that some internal illumination would not go amiss. As the case sits on my desk (it is literally a desktop) then I did not want some garish arrangement with flashing lights, multiple colours etc as this would be quite distracting. I wanted something that would cast a steady white light, akin to what a desk lamp would provide. Fortunately, my needs were not likely to lead to anything expensive and these ubanner led strips were just what I needed. For £8.99 you get two of these. Fitting is an absolute doddle and greatly helped by the included molex connector leads and the fact that the strips are magnetic.; As a result, there's no pratting about with sticky tape (which eventually loses adhesion) as seems the case with many rival products. The strength of the magnets is such that the lighting strips hold quite firmly to the case interior. Obviously, if you have a entirely or largely plastic case (is there such a thing?) or an aluminium one, these LED strips might prove problematic and are probably not the best buy for you. Personally, I am very pleased with these strips. The prce seemed very fair and the illumination provided by these makes both a nice finishing touch to my rebuilt system and provides a useful bit of extra desk lighting. They were so easy to fit a and will be very easy to reuse/remove if I get round to a major overhaul at some point. . l.

not fab but also not bad!
the magnets arent bad, but the ends tend to fall down very easy, so they could be a touch stronger. the brightness is ok albeit for a bigger case you could do with having them point directly at whatever you're trying to highlight. easy peasy to install though, the molex connection can be dasiy chained to save of plugging into different sockets which makes life easy and with no glue or anything you can peel off and move where you want it to.

Great lights!
Very good for the price. They were a little sticky when I took them out of the package. A quick baby wipe and they're grand. Likely a chemical reaction to the packaging as theyre rubber coated.

Very bright and effective. Easy to fit
Very effective LED strips x2. Molex connection leads to PSU long enough. Strips are magnetic and attach to my case nicely. These LED strips are very bright! I have attached them to the inner front of my case to shine away from my eyeline.
