Hansa Toy 5010 Cat Persian Lying 50 cm Ecru

Based on exactly the same photograph, I bought this online from another company.Oh boy, what a mistake!This THING looks ABSOLUTELY NOTHING like the picture. This poor creature is the stuff of nightmares; boss-eyed, flat-faced - and I mean FLAT!It is a dirty yellow-cream colour ( much darker than the picture) and feels like one of those cheap washable shag-pile rugs; quite nasty to the touch. What makes things worse is that this is not machine washable.I have never seen a cat alive that looks like this great ugly horror; in fact, I have a cream throw that looks and feels looks more like cat fur!This toy is worth £10 at best - not the £52 that this particular mug paid.If you are looking for authentic toy cats, Kosen cats are very, very expensive - but they do make the very best lifelike animals.I have a Kosen standing tabby on top of my piano - and he makes me smile every time I see him. In fact, he is so lifelike that my pet cats took ages to realize that he wasn't going to follow them out into the garden!
