It works alright but it the long-term life is yet to be proven.
We've only had this drag for a few months and started using it daily in the last few weeks. One thing to note, like any other drag you need just enough weight to give it sufficient pressure to do the job, but not too much. And putting something like cinderblocks between the bars isn't always viable because the bars are such slick metal they slide off constantly. I rigged some plates and long lag-bolts up to hold the blocks in place for now, and we'll see if the chain holds up. It feels a little iffy on the connections and when you catch long roots or rocks hidden in sand like we have, you wince every time and worry.

Surprisingly Heavy
I was very surprised at the weight of this harrow, especially for the low price. Our home has a steep driveway incline of 9 degrees. Because of the incline, I need to use larger than normal gravel, and this harrow evens out the gravel very well.

Works. Affordable.
Best price. Works pretty well. My gravel driveway is smooth and weed free after my tractor and I drag this around for a while

Not sure of my thoughts…
The media could not be loaded. I love the idea of this. And for the most part it works really well. However the hook connections continue to fall of very easily, causing me to continually stop and reconnect, and you can see where I have the orange baling twine is where a long metal hook is suppose to be but it fell of and I lost it the very first day.Tying the twine on has worked fine. However the harrow also has hooks attached that then are able to be hooked onto that same metal pull bar and those continue to come unhooked as well. It’s very frustrating having to stop and reconnect every pass or so.I sat a large wooden pallet on-top and tied it to the harrow to add weight. That has helped with the depth of the plowing or harrowing as well as helped to keep the hooks connected to the pull bar for longer periods of time. Not sure exactly how to solve these issues without having to purchase a lot of D rings and other things to try and make hooks into a more permanent type of connection. I love the idea of it, and I love the ease in which it quickly fits as a whole over the hitch with the large heavy duty metal ring. I am a 56 year old Grammy that started very small backyard type sheep farm that I own and run by myself 4 1/2 years ago. Income does not bring in large amounts of money so every penny needs to be spent frugally and wisely. This harrow has in all reality helped to fix and maintain my pasture in a better way so far, however I also feel that for the price it costs, there should be less issues right out of the gate, and less operational issues. Hadn’t even used for 20 minutes and lost the large hook bar that connects the harrow to the metal ring that goes over the hitch. I eventually found it a couple weeks later, but the problem with it falling off continues. I’m grateful for the ease of use, but not so much with the connections and continual issues I have with keeping it attached to itself and to my lawn tractor.

Chain Drag Harrow
Lite duty drag harrow to pull behind ATV/Mower/or small Tractor. Great for a lawn area of any size, would not consider for large acre pasture areas only because screen is only 4’ x 5’. Also for more aggressive harrowing, weight can be included on the harrow screen; concrete blocks, old tires, etc. Delivery was quick, installation simple, and included hardware was good…
