Pencil Grips for Apple Pencil 1st & 2nd Generation, USB-C & Pro - Set of 2 - Ergonomic Precision

This grip makes my Apple Pencil feel as comfortable as my favorite Lamy pen. It’s fantastic for extended drawing sessions or when I’m working under a tight deadline and need to use my pencil for hours. The ergonomic design really reduces strain on my hand, and I appreciate how natural it feels to hold. Functionality-wise, it’s excellent. I can still use all the features of my Apple Pencil Pro 2, including the double-tap and squeeze functions, and it charges perfectly even with the grip in place. Installation was super easy, so I was up and running quickly. The only issue is that the grip adds some bulk, which creates minor inconveniences. When my iPad isn’t in its case, the grip overhangs the edge and pops off when I set the iPad flat on the table. When the iPad is in its case, the added width means the case doesn’t close as snugly as it should. Despite these minor drawbacks, the comfort and improved grip are absolutely worth it. If you frequently use your Apple Pencil for extended periods, this is a great upgrade that makes the experience much more enjoyable. So, @Paperlike, can you make it in purple?

WOW! These are truly fab! Sure they seem easy enough to apply without watching a video, but I suggest watching it for the helpful tips Jan gives. Props to Jan for creating great products & a really great company! Doesn't Jan seem like such a cool, chill dude to hang out with? → ok back on track. As a writer- I needed something because my hand would constantly cramp up within minutes - also the apple pencil alone is very slippery. The size is perfect for the Apple Pencil pro - be sure to clean the pencil very well first - you're hands always seem to transmit oil - no matter how often I clean them. You will find your own way to hold it that feel comfortable to you - but there is no way to possibly imagine just how comfortable these are. Honestly amazed!! They are not stiff. They are SUPER COMFY!!! Easy to squeeze and double tap. No issues at all. None. The design is FLAWLESS!!! With the Pencil pro- as I never had pencil grips before, I admittingly thought perhaps they were a tad bit too tight - not at all! I now realize HR necessary, or it'll slip all over _ I cannot imagine that happening with the Pencil pro I use the blue one I I have the gray one on a nut-active stylus I use for my phone! Ordering again because I have an Apple Pencil pro & an Apple Pencil usb-c that I alternate between- The colors are perfect in my opinion. Classic-- and classy! Simple, understated elegance. I'm partial to the paperlike blue myself- as Robin egg blue is my favorite color - Thank you Jan! P. S Also comes with a cool sticker → original design by an artist -→ super cool!

Yes, these grips are for sure overpriced. As I for sure would prefer if these sold as singles with more color options. However, I did want to try them for myself and judge it. But I'm surprised to say that I actually do recommend these despite the price! Very comfortable, easy to slip on, and having the textured sides is perfect since the indents make a huge difference for me. No issues with the charging or attaching Pencil. Prior to this I had a different grip but it was way too bulky and wasn't practical for sessions... Even though it did look nice (grip was an elago). There is a thin layer on the sides that could easily tear. So be careful to not poke through it when installing it on your Apple Pencil! But after it's on you really shouldn't have any issues. Unless you dig your nails into that area or something. I'm sure it's thin there for the tapping function. Which works fantastically as well. Overall I'm giving it a 4/5 stars! Would be 5 if not for the price point and lack of options.

Great grip making it easy to hold and use the pencil. Watch the “how to” video otherwise it will be difficult to put on.

Comfortable, good quality and MUCH easier to write with the pen now. Good for any user, not just someone who uses the Paperlike screen protectors.

Bought these last year and have been using this grip approx. 9.5 months and I noticed there is a tear in the silicone on the thinner area that accommodates wireless charging. Not sure when the tear occurred, but I definitely noticed grip getting progressively looser as I used it- around 3-4 month mark. As such, it does slide around and you need to reorient it so the flat section lines up for the double tap and wireless charging. However, I never had to take the grip on/off so there shouldn’t have been much stress from usage. Grip feels OK and installation is easy; the main reason I got this grip is that it doesn’t interfere with charging or double tap feature. However, it’s a little disappointing that it’s ripping. I’ll probably use it a little longer since it’s fairly expensive for what it is given the lack of durability. It’s a 2-pack so I still have a back up once this one completely rips. On a side note, it would be great if they sold these individually so you can test if you like it before committing to the purchase. While the individual grip isn’t terribly priced (~$9.99/grip) the fact you have to buy 2 at once makes it more expensive than other grips that you can purchase for the same price point (although there are tons of grips that are selling in 2- or 3- packs for the same $9.99 price point).

This grip seems to be helping with some hand issues I was having. The grip feels comfortable while using the iPad. It has a nice texture to it. It didn't take me long to get used to using it. I haven't wanted to remove it and find something different like I did with another grip I tried. It took me a second to get it to charge with my iPad pro but that was totally me, user error, because I needed to turn the grip so the flat edge of the grip lined up with the flat edge of the apple pencil. Once I fixed that, it works fine with charging and fits with my case.

Pretty basic. Works well. It's comfortable and keeps the pencil from rolling around, which I appreciate.

Comodo per scrivere, al tatto si sente che la gomma è di buona qualità e la cosa migliore è che si attacca benissimo al magnete dell’iPad. Funziona perfettamente su Pencil Pro.

I am a storyboard artist and working for long hours with the Apple Pencil is not convenient at all, this paper like grip is so perfect I recommend it for anyone who is working with the Apple Pencil and want to enjoy the experience

Works well, you can still use the magnetic charging on the side of the iPad with these on. They grip well and feel good quality.

Super produit ! Les Pencil Grips de Paperlike ont vraiment changé ma façon d’écrire sur l’iPad. La prise en main est bien plus confortable, surtout lors de longues sessions d’écriture ou de dessin. Le grip ‘scribe’ est parfait pour écrire de manière précise, et le grip ‘artist’ offre une belle fluidité pour dessiner. Ils s’adaptent parfaitement à l’Apple Pencil et restent bien en place. Je recommande vivement !
