The FPP is designed for speedy temperature measurement when surface temperatures will suffice (the Infrared mode) and to test internal temperatures of meats and proteins when only a penetration probe will suffice. The unit includes a soft belt case so it's always at hand and an application guide to demonstrate its wide versatility. The FPP is used in foodservice applications such as checking grocery cases and refrigeration units and for kitchen applications such as grills, fryers and holding units. Rather than a laser sight as on most general purpose IR thermometers, the FP has a unique LED Target Illumination so that you know exactly the area you are measuring. The FPP has an Infrared range of -30 to 525F/-35 to 275C and an accuracy of ±2F/1C. The Probe range is -40 to 400F / -40 to 200C with an accuracy of ±1°F in the food zone of +23 to 150F and ±2F/1C outside.
