Works well and easy to use.
Used this product to clear the chemicals from our pool prior to using stain removal product. It worked quickly and as described. We are happy with the result and will probably use again. Recommend.

Worked Very Well and Fast !
Pool had an algae bloom and info online indicated a 2X or 3X shock. 2X didn't work, 3X did the job but after 3 weeks test kit still showing 5+ PPM residual. Used this Chem Out and an hour later water tested at 2 PPM and 24 hours later at .5 PPM. Great performance.

It works!!
I’ve struggled with high chlorine a few times. It would go a week with my free chlorine being 10plus! Nothing I did helped bring it down even not adding any chlorine at all. I’ve used this product a couple of times when I can’t get my chlorine down. And it works everytime. I keep a bottle of this around for my pool just in case at all times. Great neutralizer. And the only one I’ve ever found that actually works!

Reduced chlorine levels quickly
We changed chlorine tablet sizes / brands this year and found that they disolved much faster than prior years. This left us with a chlorine level off the top of the charts for the water test strips. Using the method recommended by this product I diluted a sample of pool water with tap water (which itself has some chlorine in it) and found we needed to reduce the chlorine levels by 1/2 to 3/4.I was hesitant to add chemicals to our pool as a fix for having too much chemicals. I was also worried about if this would create a high total chlorine level but low free chlorine. After a lot of research of how this product works, I found it binds to and converts the chlorine vs simply “uses it up” so I opted to give it a try.I used the dosing chart on the package and rounded significantly down to start small. I saw a noticed improvement after a day. Seeing improvement, I did a second application and the levels dropped to a level our test strips could measure, but still not “safe for swimming”. I added a bit more product, topped off the pool with more tap water and left the filter run with the cover off in the sun for a few days.Since we have a small pool, we avoid chlorine products with stabilizers - this uses more chlorine but allows the sun to fix most slightly high chlorine levels. Our chlorine levels dropped to a comfortable level and we’re back to normal with needing to add chlorine.

Amazingly effective
Amazingly effective at reducing bromine levels in hot tub. I have approx 600 gal hot tub and you only need a small amount of this product and it worked within 5 min. Will be very useful to eliminate downtime due to high levels of bromine

Very bitter taste!
Just kidding, don't put this in your mouth, put this in your pool!!My pool is in the shade almost 100% of the time, for that reason when I do a heavy shock on my pool it can sometimes take 5 days or more for the chlorine levels to drop back to a safe level. Being summer time in TX, I don't like not being able to cool off in the afternoons. The product worked great to quickly get my pool back down to a safe chlorine level. Read the instructions and figure out how much you need to lower your pool to the desired chlorine level then only add half that amount and re-test. You can keep adding more til the chlorine is right. If you add too much, you could deplete all of your chlorine and aint nobody got time for dat!

Container was almost 1/2 empty and caked up inside.
Container was almost 1/2 empty and caked up inside. Was supposed to be 2 lbs. was a shade over 1 lbs as measured on digital scale. Buy a full container locally... don't waste your time ordering here. Would give it one star if I could. Reached out to the Mfg...

Only thing that worked
So my wife poured a huge amount of chlorine into our pool at the end of last season to try to keep it clean over the winter. When I went to start opening our pool this season I tested our chlorine levels and they were off the charts. Every test has a yellow shade and our tests were coming out completely brown because our chlorine levels were so high. I had to use a whole bottle of this stuff eventually but as I slowly put it in our pool over a few days I saw the levels drastically go down until we were at the levels actually needed. Would def recommend to anyone.
