I previously used the magnet phone holder system that fit in my air vent. I never liked the idea (especially in the summer), to close off part of the vent to accommodate it. When I bought a new phone case whose magnet was not quite as strong, my phone kept falling off and hitting me in the knee! I was really happy to discover this holder that slips into your CD player (which I have never used… who has cds?). It holds the phone securely and at a level tilt that’s easy for me to glance at while I’m driving (if I need to). It’s held tightly with a screw nut into the CD player, but does not harm any of the mechanisms inside. I’m very happy with this product!

This holder is very sturdy stays in my CD player and my phone has not jumped out even on rough back roads that I have to drive on. It is adjustable and hold in place. I highly recommend it.

I love it so far. It is secure in my CD slot, easy to use, and has held my phone perfectly steady for each day thay I have used it. The colour option us a plus and I really love the light purple. I am hoping it holds strong over time.

The media could not be loaded. Update after 5 weeks of use: I reduced the stars from 4 to 3 because it began popping out too often if I slanted the phone too far up or down. I think I have fixed the problem by inserting it upside down into the cd slot from how the instructions say. I am wondering whether it will keeping holding or not. It is very annoying for it to pop out while I slant it while driving, like to see the gps map better. So maybe the new insertion method will alleviate this problem. If not, I will add to this review.I have a Wally case which is a little bit thicker because of the handhold on the back of it. This phone holder is a little bit deeper than any of the several others that I have tried. So many of them say that it works with a thick case. Well this one REALLY does. The only possible problem (see video) Is that if you tilted really far up or really low down, it can pop out of the CD slot. Just be a little gentle with it. I am very happy with it. All the other ones I tried, the phone was not held firmly enough and would slip or pop out while I was tapping it or turning the angle of the holder. The only reason I gave four stars is because of how it can come out of the CD slot if you turn it up too high or too low.
