It just works. I pack it full of broken branches from my yard and have a small pile of wood next to my bbq. As soon as it starts up, it gives off great heat and no smoke. perfect! But I may buy a bigger one now!

I've used this fire pit a couple times now and I'm pleased with how it performs. I used it recently to heat up some water on the beach. Despite it being fairly windy, the fire pit kept a good flame and I was able to heat up the water for coffee easily.This is a good size for 1-2 people while camping if you want to heat up some water, make s'mores, or maybe cook a couple hotdogs over the open flame. You could certainly cook for more people, but everyone would be eating at different times.The added extendable skewers were a nice touch, but I wouldn't really trust them to hold anything with any weight. I prefer to use tongs or wooden skewers.The only real negative for me is that not everything fits snugly inside the fire pit when you pack it away. I attached a photo so you can see what it looks like with everything inside, the lid does not fully close. It's not a huge dealbreaker since it still fits in the bag that came with it, it's just a bit annoying that you can't close the lid with all of the pieces inside.

It’s made of stainless steel and it has thick enough parts it should hold up to denting on transport and should make it last a long time. It comes with an alcohol burning plate if you want to cook a small meal or roast marshmallows. It really only performs well enough for cooking very small things and roasting marshmallows. It’s a little too small to use as a conversational fire since the fuel burns out quickly due to the small chamber. For roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, it’s perfect though. It creates enough heat for a frying pan well if necessary and it has a rack for pans included. Being stainless steel it can really vary on how easy it is to clean out depending on what your using for fuel. Obviously alcohol is fairly clean up free. Charcoal is pretty easy you just dump out the ashes. Wood on the other hand seems to stick to the sides a little more and you might need a brush. Overall I like it and I’m planning on keeping it around for s’mores and hot dogs at the very least.

The top ring ment use as a cooking surface is very warped and welded poorly. I've corrected it but should have returned it.
