Pretty satisfied. *by A***N on August 8, 2024* I spent a long time looking for a 4 bay M.2 2280 SSD enclosure with Thunderbolt 3 (or 4) support. There aren’t that many options out there. I finally settled on Trebleet because of the active cooling and they were pretty honest about the shared bandwidth limitations.I ran a few quick speed tests on my WD Black SN850X 4TB SSD. These are all in MB/s read, write:Aja:- 2827, 2617AmorphousDiskMark:- SEQ1M QD8: 3150, 2886- SEQ1M QD1: 2627, 2501- RND4K QD64: 1679, 463- RND4K QD1: 64, 45Blackmagic Disk Speed Test (5 GB stress)- 2830, 2725As expected, it gets close to the max speed for sequential reads and writes to/from my MacBook Air M3. Transferring data between SSD drives within the enclosure is super fast.There is some fan noise, but it’s not that bad — about as loud as laptop fan noise used to be.My only gripe is that I wish it was a tool-less design. The screws are really tiny. I put a magnet on the provided screwdriver so that I wouldn’t drop the screws. If not for that, I would have given it 5 stars.UPDATE: I’m bumping this up to 5 stars because their customer service is very responsive. One of the fans started to fail and made loud grinding noises. I contacted Trebleet, they requested some pictures to make sure they understood which component it was, and sent a replacement part without any fuss. I replaced the fan, and everything works great again. 🥳 ### ⭐ not working *by A***R on September 14, 2024* This came to me not working. I wanted a replacement, but Amazon on gave me the option of refund. I wanted the product, and I wanted it to work ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good quality build, high speed, fan noise give me headache *by N***Y on August 9, 2024* I'm generally pleased with the build quality and design of this device, which holds its own when compared to the Mac Studio. The disk read and write speeds are as advertised, and the temperature reading of the m.2 drive remains consistently at 113F. However, I do have one major complaint: the fan noise is extremely loud and high-pitched, to the point where it's become unbearable.
