Worked w/ AT&T Prepaid SIM, Boosted Cellular & WiFi Signal Quality
A field deployed construction trailer - off the grid - including a diesel generator. Needed a better cellular router for Internet access for multiple employees. Admittedly I was preparing to return the unit because I could not get a Verizon prepaid SIM to work (was not pulling the cellular APN information). I decided to try an AT&T prepaid data plan - which works on my Netgear Nighthawk 5G. Surprisingly the AT&T SIM worked in the Kuwfi unit and it is a keeper. Roughly doubled the download speed. Did not make much of a dent in the upload spead - but we have an external cellular antenna (4 leads). I will make use of the external antenna for the 4 antenna connectors on the box. I agree the documentation is sparse - and the DHCP settings do not allow modification of DNS and Default GW (so I added a VPN FW/Switch on the LAN to get around this. So the fact that the unit is working - and is weatherproof with sufficient cellular signal upgrade - makes this a recommended option. (At least with an AT&T SIM)

No technical support
This is the definition of Chinese garbage. It comes with the most basic POE power supply and the instructions are incredibly generic and not product specific. They did have a video showing how to configure the router, but aside from it being in Chinese, the menu options were different.

This router is very good when it have good signal
I have been using this router for a while and I can say it works, and with this new software update it's even better, and what I like is that you canText customer service and they will contact you with any questions you have, or if you want to get a software update.

Quality and Heavy Duty
I wasn’t expecting this to be as big as it is and anticipated it being a bit smaller sized. It’s not huge or anything just not as compact as I expected. It’s definitely quality and it’s heavy and feels heavy duty. It works great and installation and setup was simple and smooth. Awesome product!

Very nifty!
This thing is very nifty. It is outdoor rated so it can easily handle being outside. It has a 5G modem in it so that you can easily install a SIM card and get data that way...But it can also work as an access point via an ethernet connection, or provide the 5G connection over ethernet...So... I installed this outside and stuck a sim card in it... and I got *great* reception for a backup internet service at home! This thing is quite cool!
