MTV Unplugged

Great unplugged versions of great songs - what more could you want? Been on repeat as I have been thoroughly enjoying this CD.

As like many in the 'Unplugged' series before, this album showcases Florence's undeniable talent and range. Featuring some of the more obvious recent hits ( no rabbit heart?) and a few cleverly twisted covers each track is captivating and beautiful. It is a very different live album than I have heard before though. In that it does not run seamlessly. I don't deny the concert itself both live and for broadcast may have well been longer, but MTV and the artists it has featured do not usually put out an album like this. After each track it fades out and then back in again for the next one. For a live experience this is a little unsettling at first, after a few listens though you get used to it. Either way a must for fans and new comers alike!

I think the best way to describe this album is beautiful.This album is of the highest quality in terms of clarity of sound, unlike some other live albums that end up drowning large sections out (Pantera 101 proof as example)Her voice resonates with such a passion that you would have to be dead inside not to be moved.Backing vocals and instruments are of the highest order and combine to make a live album that you can listen to time and again.With original and covered songs this album will take you on a journey that you do not want to end.Its one of those rare times that you would NEVER skip a song!

Love her voice and she's talented but just didn't grab me

Great mature sultry pop album. Stunning vocals, such a powerful voice. Music fab. I am pleased with my purchase and would buy again.
