This is a great product very good size and great quality very good value for money and they work great

Got two 1kg ones as these are the largest that will fit in a microwave. 'Silica gel is a powerful desiccant, capable of adsorbing up to 40% of its own weight in water vapor'. In a small car (Ford Fiesta) the one on the front dashboard lasted 2 weeks through rain and cold weather before turning pink (not red). The one in the boot/trunk was still blue, and used to replace the front one when drying that out. The label says 6-12 minutes in a 700W microwave. I gave it 3min sessions (in an 800W micro), then a 2 min rest. 3 times, total 9 mins. Make sure to position them so the microwave turntable can still rotate. It was then hot and steaming, so I gave it two more 3 min sessions (with rests inbetween) on the lowest setting just to let the microwave fan exhaust the moisture that was steaming out. Then left on a radiator for a couple of hours to fully dry out. Having two bags gives you the freedom for this. Don't do things by halves as these are totally re-usable and also can be used around the house if need be. It may not totally clear the inside windscreen on a bad day, but leaves such a thin mist that the normal air blower/heater will remove that in 30secs or so. Without these, the windscreen would have been dripping wet on the inside, so they work well.

These actually work to reduce/eliminate fogging on the inside windows of your automobile. We have two large ones & alternate as needed. The indicator spot (blue/pink) works well. I'd buy them again. Recommended

Works ok, not cheap. Just buy some cat litter and bag it yourself

I bought this to help the drying process of my damp car and it does seem to work. I used this in my MX-5 which had a wet carpet due to a roof leak. After getting the carpets 'dry' the windows would still be covered in condensation on the inside on cooler mornings. After buying this dehumidifier bag and putting it into the car, the windows no longer mist up on the inside and, I no longer have to run the fan on full blast when driving to keep the window clear. As a bit of science, I did check the weight of the bag after a week in the car, its weight had gone up to 1295g so it has theoretically absorbed over 250mls of water. I have put it in the microwave for six minutes to dry it out. It came out warm and nicely steaming. After leaving to cool and drying further in the Ninja on dehydrate mode the weight went down by 100g so, that is quite a bit of water removed from my car interior. So yep, seems to be effective and works well for cars with damp problems. The sticky rubber mat supplied with this is also very useful. It keeps the desiccant bag in place on the back shelf even with some 'enthusiastic' driving!
