Much better than our last bulb one. Get all the alerts we want and without a lag. Appreciate that it came with an extender, works nicer with that in the light fixture. Super clear image day and night. The light doesn’t blind it like the previous one we had. We have it outside above the garage.works with littlelf smart app like our interior ones, nice to have all views on one app. Allows for continuous monitoring as well, no 5 min time out.

We love this. Works as it should has really good picture quality, and alerts.

If you're looking at this camera then you're probably like me, looking for something on a budget. So let's be real about the expectations at this price range. You're going to have some trade offs compared to going with cameras that cost $100+ more than this one. The question for you is are you willing to take the trade offs in your situation. For me it's worth it. I'll start with the negatives I've come across. Alexa integration is the first flaw. It links, you can pull up live video on your echo show, you can communicate through the camera with Alexa app. BUT you won't get any notifications through Alexa app or through you echo. The only notification option is through the cameras app. Second thing is no 5ghz wifi. I had to manually change the settings in my router to get it to connect to my Internet. Third is cloud storage options are kinda ridiculous but you can get by that by using a micro SD card to record locally (you can access recordings right from the camera app easily). Now to the things that work. Apps notifications are quick. It picks up motion and/or sound depending on how you set it up for getting notifications. It works well even at night. The camera quality is decent. The microphone and speaker are tolerable if there's not a lot of wind other wise it kinda drowns out the mic. It tracks movement to keep it in the frame of view. You can set up automation to scan the area or turn on/off the lights. All in all for the price it works for me. My main concerns were real time notifications (works faster than my friends big name door bell notification), ability to save video (SD cards make this easily happen), and something that didn't need new power supply ran (if you can screw in a bulb then you have the installation process covered). It gets 5 stars based on what it is, a budget camera that more than meets my needs, and not based on comparison of a camera that costs 3xs more.

Would be a GREAT camera, if it lasted. I've ordered two iness than a years time, both stopped rotating. Ive done all the troubleshooting possible with no fix. When it worked, it was absolutely awesome.. Will be ordering a different brand.

I took a chance on these. I live in a sketchy area, with people running through all the time. I also had a neighbor in our condo area who was becoming increasingly brazen and snooping around my patio, often at twilight or in the middle of the night. A few of my neighbors had caught him several times around the corner of our patios eavesdropping on people. I am on a tight budget and couldn't afford some great home security or even the ring doorbell, so I opted to give these a try when they went on sale for half off. I bought them at different times but from the same company. They certainly are not perfect, but not bad either, and just what I needed! Installation was easy, setup wasn't too difficult. I have had them for about 6 months and was expecting to have issues with them once the weather got bitterly cold, but I haven't had any. The one on my back patio that I installed first does better, I believe because it is closer to the router/modem, the one on the front porch, I installed later, sometimes it struggles. I love that I can access it on my phone, and so can my kid from her phone, regardless of where we are at, but there is a delay when connecting no matter my location - so very difficult to catch anything in the act of. I love that I haven't had to buy extra storage or the cloud. It takes a picture whenever it detects movement and I have had more than up to a month's worth of pictures stored without any additional storage purchased. It is a little sluggish, and there are some blurry pics with fast-moving people, but it follows them, and I think that is a great deterrent. It also has a light on it, that I can program to turn on and off at certain times, or I can set it to turn on when it detects motion. Sometimes it will get stuck in an area after following something and I will need to move it back to the preset watch area. I can zoom in and out, and the live stream is pretty great, but still pics are not HD. I am not sure they would be too helpful in identifying someone from afar, but certainly helpful in determining the time of an event. Regardless, I haven't had a snoopy neighbor at all since getting them and the foot traffic seems to have died down too. Even if they only last a couple of years, I think it was a good investment, I feel safer, my daughter feels safer, and I would replace them with the same or similar camera when the time comes. Lots of features I wasn't expecting, like speaking/listening through them, a siren, etc, but I don't use them all, so I can't review them. I have used chat help on my phone once when they weren't connecting, and I was very happy to find I could chat instantly with a person and they were very helpful, despite the issue being my internet was down.

These cameras are horrible. They stop rotating after a few months not sure why they just stopped working from rotating side to side or up/down they normally fix but this time the agent is spoke with requested i let them know when I brought it not sure why but yeah do what you feel eith this information

It was easy to set up. Works great for keeping an eye on my kids while they are playing outside

I already had a light blub camera, I was not happy with the light, I felt it was to low, this one was just a little better, but more expensive and so was the yearly plan.
