I bought for emergency use if heat is needed for longer than 3 hours.Safety warning said that propane cylinder must remain outside, good reason for the 12' length of hose.A good quality product, filter replacement might be a problem as hose and filter are sold together. Although a Mr. Heater filter would likely fit.

I'm using this with my 16oz propane/butane? canisters along with my Big Buddy portable Mr. Heater. Works as advertised. I'm a little worried about the costs involved in replacing the fuel filter & how long it's supposed to last though. Time will tell.

Hose wss a little long, but worked perfectly

Power has been sketchy the past two inters so I decided to hedge against possible power brownouts by buying a buddy heater. Problem is the short time with the screw in small propane bottles. I bought this hose so I have the option of hooking up to a large bbq size propane tank. It works well. It should be noted that the initial start up will take a few minutes while the hose fills with propane before the heater will stay on. Once it’s on…it works awesome. The filter will keep internals from fouling. Over all a great addition to peace of mind.

This hose works perfectly just way over priced

After going through about 100 lbs of fuel over about a month, I noticed a large amount of oily chemical leaking from the hose while disconnecting it. No other component in my system is capable of doing this, and it doesn't magically evaporate and then recondense from propane.I definitely wouldn't recommend this hose.
