Mega Bloks Thomas & Friends - Blue Mountain Quarry

This purchase was very disappointing. I bought it as a big surprise for my son who is a huge Thomas fan and has recently started getting into the Thomas MegaBloks. To begin, this set arrived with one piece missing, which we did not discover until we had already spent a long time assembling practically the entire set. That was frustrating. Unlike our previous Thomas MegaBloks sets which work great, the track pieces on this set do not fit securely together, resulting in a track that keeps disconnecting and falling to the ground. Although I very much wanted my son to be able to enjoy this prize he was awarded for a recent accomplishment, I was forced to pack it up and send it back. The tracks disconnecting constantly are almost enough to send ME into a tantrum - I can't even imagine what it would do to my toddler son!

Bought this for my 4 year old nephew for Christmas. He's a huge Thomas fan and loves trains. The box that the blocks come in form part of the building process which results in a very well constructed multi-level playing scene. Some adult assistance will be required but the easy snap-in pieces ensures that a young child can build it within 15-20 minutes. Once constructed the set kept our young builder happy and entertained and he loved loading the "coal" into the carriage via the quarry chute. The best part is that the pieces can be stored in the box it came in

My 2.5 year old son loves all things Thomas, so I got this to add some variety to his wooden train collection. He absolutely loves it, but the pieces do not hold together very well, which causes a lot of frustration. In particular, the 3 pieces of the Thomas train constantly fall out, and the tracks (the best part, in his opinion) do not lock together tightly and often come apart. Overall these pieces do not hold together as tightly as Duplos or other Mega Blocks.

The set was very small, not worth the money.

This is an excellent learning kit for kids. It not only teaches them basic building, but also how things work. It is very durable and can be configured in several different ways, which again helps kids learn curves and how things fit together. Not only that, it is fun to do with the grandkids!

It turned out to be my grandson's favorite birthday gift. He really loved it. His two favorite are lego blocks and Thomas the Train.

mistakes happen, but a missing part is a big no-no. Toy was brand new, it's not a returned item that someone stole/forogt a part from.Toy seems well built, the kids love it, and that's what counts.

this is a fantastic game. very good for my 3 year old.

Wir haben so ziemlich alles, was es von Mega Bloks und Thomas gibt. Wir haben das ganze Kinderzimmer zugebaut. Super toll immer wieder anders zusammenbaubar.
