Although I have the soft Garmin travel case for my GPSMAP 64ST, I didn't think it offered enough protection. It also didn't allow me to easily keep the USB cable and device together. Since I have rechargeable batteries installed, having the USB cable handy is paramount to keep the unit powered up. Since I like taking the device on road trips, the extra protection and the ability to keep the GPS and cable together has proven far worth the sacrifice of extra weight.Would I take this case on a hiking trip? Probably not, since it's a bit bulky and heavy. However, I wouldn't have a need for the USB cable in most hiking scenarios, so it's really a moot point.The case is well made and I really have to think that it will hold up under normal usage for as long as the GPS is in service. The elastic band is of the type that will probably stretch and deform a bit if used very frequently. However, the device fits in the case very snugly, so I'm not very concerned about its integrity over the course of years.In the photo I attached, you'll notice I'm using a Tusinga-brand cover on my GPSMAP 64ST. Even with the added bulk that this cover causes, the GPS still fit, though the fit was somewhat tight. I figure that the case may eventually conform to accommodate this, so again, the case is doing everything I could expect.Get it - I don't think you'll be disappointed!

The 65s wasn't listed as one of the compatible models. But this works great. I store the unit, cables and extra batteries. Durable..

My Garmin 62 fits perfectly. Pair it with some slimline battery cases for spare batteries while in the woods.Everything I need for my GPS and spare battery storage fits in this thing.Highly recommend and would buy again.

A good storage case for Garmin GPSMAP 64 units. Solid, sturdy. Garmin fits well. The downside is that meshed pocket does not have a zipper, and the pocket itself is fairly loose, so if you put spare batteries in it, next time you open the case, you will unavoidably find them out of the pocket and scattered around the GPS unit. Due to size and extra weight, I cannot imagine carrying this case with me when I hike. I am using it for storage of the unit (to keep the GPS and the cable in the same place) and as a protection when I carry it in my luggage.

Is a nice case that holds my GPS and few cables. Things are stored together.

I use this product exclusively for home storage or travel. It is a nice fit for my Garmin GPSMAP 64sx and its accessories and will protect it nicely. It would be a bit bulky to take with you into the field.

Nice hard case to protect investment in a GPS.

Sturdy with a good zipper.plenty of room for an extra set of batteries and the charging cord - yet still slim enough to fit in my hand and in my pack for international air travel and the rough roads of the Inner Tien Shan Mountains.
