FEGVE Titanium Key Chain Rings for Home Keys, Bag Pendant

I used to carry, long ago, single a key ring. I changed to a key case when the number of keys got too great for a single ring. I then came to hate the case when it got full because it was so bulky. Then came "smart" car keys. Then came key fobs. Too big for rings or cases. I have transitioned (over 40 years or more) to a belt clip with a chain attached, which allows me to carry bulky stuff that hangs, rather than settling into the bottom of my pocket. I attach a short chain to my belt with a FEGVE belt clip that does two things: it allows me to carry stuff that suspends from a chain that fits in my pocket, and it lets me carry a minimum number keys on a ring which can be easily detached and re-attached to the clip as needed.In the accompanying photo there are three of the FEGVE rings shown (in natural titanium, rather than black). One attaches the chain to the FEGVE belt clip, one attaches a pen to the chain, and one attaches a key fob to the chain. These FEGVE rings allow me to easily change the combination of what I carry and how I carry it. I have a couple of lengths of chain which will work for different pants I wear (the chain hangs in my front pocket). Sometimes I carry the pen shown, sometimes not. I have two different key fobs I might need to carry, but only one at a time. These rings allow quick changes to whatever configuration I need depending on circumstances.Opening these rings and fitting new items is quick and easy. It is much easier than using split-coil rings like I had been doing. I feel very confident in the strength of these rings to securely hold the items together.It is a minor detail, but I have two FEGVE belt clips, one in natural titanium, one in black. I use the black clip in my work, which requires black pants and black belt, so the black version of these rings and clip is "better" than the natural version (I wish I could find a good black chain which would make everything the same color). At any rate, I have belt clips that work for all occasions, and the FEGVE key chain rings let me mix and match to suite my needs.These chain rings are the last item I needed to make my hardware-carrying system as adaptable as could be. These are much easier to use, and a better fit, than 1-inch diameter split-coil chain rings.

Unfortunately the coating of the rings is coming of very fast otherwise great product super lightweight

I had been using a small screw type key carabiner locking device for a few years to hold my keys and car fob. It would always come unscrewed at some point in my pocket and my keys would fall off. Sometimes I would even loose one. Not good!So finally went on the hunt for something small that would hold my car key fob and two other keys I use. This tiny little oval connector device was the missing link, literally. So I put my key fob on a simple round extender ring and my two house keys on another round ring. Im actually not using the big soft ring that came with this right now as I dont need it. It is the titanium mini ring connector which is the perfect solution. I am basically using this to connect the two other rings. This way if at a valet or if I need to switch key fobs for my wife's car I just quickly open the mini connector and slide off the fob ring. The design is simple and it took me a couple times playing with it to understand how it works.Basically there is a break in the connector you pull up to open it. It locks in the open position! Perfect! easy off and easy on . Then when you are ready to close it you just put between your thumb and forefinger and pinch it closed from the ends and it snaps and locks in the close position. If you have more keys you would probably use the larger locking ring that comes with the mini clip too. But for me, just the mini clip is all I need. It looks well made and machined and if indeed it is the two layers of titanium metal it should hold up just fine. Will up date the review if it breaks.

The larger rings are great. The smaller ring fails to stay open while I try to take it off or reattach it to my car keys.

When I purchased these, I was honestly hoping for a larger clip. They are pretty small however I have not lost any keys off their ring and it is functioning well.

For something that holds your important keys together (lackingly) its so much easier to take things off this ring than put them on. This is an overpriced fail. Would have been perfect if its concept were reversed because the way it is now is pointless.

Bought this product because I kept forgetting to grab my work keys for the office and would be locked out with my keys at home 35 minutes away. Now they are always clipped to my work bag. This clip is extremely sturdy and does not seem to have any chance of breaking or losing my keys. Super convenient to be able to just unclip them, lock or unlock the door, and clip them back to my bag. Good value for the price as well.
