I make stagecoach replica strong boxes that are used for keepsake boxes with a western theme. These colt locks I believe have single handedly been the reason that I sell so many. With an old looking Colt lock that is functional and just looks the part is fantastic! Folks just love the look of them, kids and adults alike!! I have found other uses for these locks and no matter where they are used they just spark a conversation! Everyone just loves them. I do take a dremmel with a wire wheel and make the Colt plaque shine alittle, sometimes the finish covers it more than I like, but that's no big deal, gives me a chance to customize each lock a little differently! Awesome product!!!

Looks vintage.
I liked the look and it seems well made. I didn’t like all the rust dust. (I realize something is applied to the metal to produce the vintage look, but there’s so much you can’t even handle the lock until it’s cleaned off.)

Absolutely awesome! Looks like an antique but solid and secure like a new lock. I built a Parsons table out of a wine crate that I distressed to look old. I secured the lid with a hasp and this lock works perfectly!

Rifle Rack lock
I use this lock for an old style, wall Rifle Rack. It works perfectly and looks great. I wish the company would make the same lock with other logos. Like Winchester, Marlin, H&R, Wells Fargo or even a simple U.S.

Cool lock
The shackle is thick and almost did not work in this application. Yes I know I need a wrought iron hasp… so the lock mechanism works but I wish the internals were more precise
