I'm a custom cabinetmaker. I used this for pre-catalyzed paint, which is much more messy and hard to clean than normal household latex paints.Without this, I spent SO much time cleaning up the sink and my hands!I used this mixing lid yesterday with ZERO cleanup! Not one speck on my hands.No instructions were included, but I figured it out quickly.I plan to buy one of these for each new can and discard them versus cleaning.I can't speak for long-term use.

Solution for epoxy paint mixing, measurable pouring.

This worked on a half gallon of primer, but the stem snapped on the first full gallon. once the paint is mixed it did a great job keeping it that way. I like the pour spout, and it did not leak.

Very easy to assemble and use!! No leaks or drips!! Way better than having to open a can all the time and having to find something to mix it with. Definitely worth the money!!!

Leaked first use until paint dried between lid and can on the pouring side. However does not seal all the way around. After 3 weeks a can of new paint had dried to an unusable gel.

Overall very happy with this device. It seals the can nicely and stirs well also.I took off one star because there are other configurations of this device in the Amazon universe that, in my opinion, are better.The one that I saw is this exact same lid except it offers a longer rod for the crank. I do think a longer rod would be better because my rod lost connection with the paddle and I ended up with pain all over my hands trying to reconnect.Secondly, a longer rod would allow for better grip in turning as well as allow the ability to potentially use a drill to spin instead of hand cranking. With a drill it seems to me you'd be a lot closer to the commercial store shaker.Lastly, there is a small hole right next to the opening for the crank. In another config I saw, they used this hole to include a smaller rod that fit into both this opening and the rotary swivel handle which provides extra support and security while cranking.Overall I'm happy with this tool but if I needed another I'd opt for one with more reinforcements.

OK product. Not great, but does what it is intended to do. Crazy to say, but I believe this product is over engineered. Could have been designed with less parts and still done the job is was intended for. Five Stars though, because it does the job.

This works great. Make sure you tighten it correctly. Most complaints I read would be caused by that. The only knock would be it pours out slowly, but it works so good that doesn't bother me!
