Love these dehydrated mushrooms. Be forewarned, they may be received in small broken pieces but they’re still tasty.

Great taste but has stems attached. Stems don't cook well and are hard even after cooking, so make sure to cut these off after cooking so you don't shatter the mushrooms. Great flavor at a great price!

Living in a rural area, access to good mushrooms at the local grocery is almost impossible. White buttons are the most exotic variety available generally. Our family adores mushrooms, and these do not disappoint. The slices are large and after soaking for about 20 minutes, can be added to any recipe calling for mushrooms. I usually soak them in broth before adding to soups and casseroles. These are not rubbery and taste great. I have purchased other brands of dried 'shrooms, but this one is now the favorite in my household. The amount is gigantic and we will be enjoying these for many months. I keep the unopened packages in the freezer and just take out what is needed for cooking a particular dish. Highly recommended!

Easy to rehydrate in small amount of water for my last minute dinner plans. Maintain natural texture after stirfry! No one suspected as dehydrated.

The flavor is good and strong. Hydration takes longer than I thought it would, and the stems never really soften up so you will probably have to cut them out. I use these mushrooms for soup, veggie broth, tacos, texture in Mexican dishes, texture for anything...etc.An 8oz package is huge! So if you eat a lot of dehydrated shitake mushrooms, a three pack will be your jam. If you are an occasional dehydrated shitake mushroom consumer, one 8oz package will do you good. The packaging is resealable, but I put mine in a jar for easy access.
