I purchased these to attempt to bring the flashlight portion of a hunting knife back to life. It was a gift from my autistic granddaughter a couple of years back. She remembered that light and was not happy it wasnt working. That brings me to these batteries. After removing the cover it appeared to be a single battery. After removing that I realized it was a sleeve containing 6 of these batteries stacked!! It took a little bit to get those things stacked straight inside that sleeve but I finally got it going! they’ve lasted 4 months so far and the light still shines very bright.

None of the batteries had an output greater than 1.3v.

These button cell watch batteries work just fine and it will be nice to have some backups. I have no idea how long the one I used to replace the dead one in my watch, nor do I know how long the others will last in the package. I know some people keep batteries in their refrigerators. Does anyone know if that helps to keep them fresh?
