Good, but a two-pronged adapter works just fine
I bought this for travel in Chile. It worked well, but I realized that I didn’t need the third prong to charge my stuff and that my two-pronged adapter worked just fine. If I knew, I probably wouldn’t have bought it, but this is good if you really only need the three prongs and no other plug types.

Worked like a charm
I purchased these for a trip to France. I got the two-pack, in case one didn't work or I lost one. Both worked well and fit every plug that I tried them in. It's great that you can plug two things into it at the same time. But what I personally found useful was being able to plug a variety of plug types into the same adapter. My wife could use her 240v heating pad (with a two-prong Europlug) at the same time as she charged her tablet (US plug), from the same bedside outlet. You can even plug these adapters together in a chain so you can keep them together. These adapters should be pluggable into any Schuko type (France/Germany) outlet. The main side appears to accept plugs of the following types: North America grounded, Schuko (although there is no ground pin sticking out, so it won't be grounded), UK grounded (flat and round), Italian, and possibly others that I don't recognize. The secondary plug appears accepts North America two-prong, ungrounded Schuko (aka Europlug), and UK shaver plug. I only tried it with North American two-prong and Europlug plugs, so I can't say definitively that it will work with anything else.As mentioned by others, this doesn't convert voltages, so make sure whatever you plug into it will accept the voltage of the outlet you plug it into. For devices that have rechargeable batteries, the AC charging adapter should say what voltages it accepts. Most chargers these days will accept 120v-240v, so you shouldn't need any kind of voltage conversion to charge your cell phones, computers, razors, etc. Anything that works directly off of AC current will probably need a voltage converter, which will be much more expensive.

Great for my trip to the UK!
These adapters (not converters!) are awesome! They fit perfectly into every outlet I came across in the UK and worked for my 2 and 3 prong US plugs. The coolest part about this adapter was the capacity for a second plug in the top! I would take one of them with me to the office and leave one of them at the flat I was staying- plugged in. It was recommended to me that I plug in my cord to the adapter FIRST, before plugging the cord into my device or even before turning my device on, to avoid any surge- so I did that, too. There were one or two times when I was pushing my US plug into the adapter (and sometimes it took a bit of force when they were brand new) that I saw a spark. But there was no issue. I'm just glad it wasn't connected to my device yet- just in case.Be aware- these are NOT VOLTAGE CONVERTERS! However, I found for the items I was needing to charge (iPad, iPhone, laptop, etc) that those power cords had variable voltage capacity. Check yours before you travel. If your plug/ device you are plugging in does not have variable voltage, then you might need a converter, too. The charger/ plug should say something like "Input 100-240~." As long as it has a range that spans the US voltage and the UK voltage, you wont need a converter at all.

Type C, I And L Adapters Have Both A 3-Prong And A 2-Prong Face
I bought the Type C, I and L plug adapters for use on a cruise to South America that I will taking in March. C and L are what are needed for Chile and C and I for Argentina. I will be spending several nights in a hotel in both countries. I could have waited until getting there and bought them for pennies rather than dollars, but I would rather go prepared so that I can start using my computer as soon as I check in.Because the Amazon photo on the page for the Type C adapter shows only the face for a 2-prong plug, I was thinking I might need a 2 prong adapter to cover the ground prong on the 3-prong plug of my laptop. However, when the adapters arrived I was relieved to find that all 3 plug adapter have two faces that you can plug into: the 2-prong face on a side, as was shown in the picture, and a 3-prong face on top.

some issues
I purchases these to take to Africa for a trip. We like to take two adapters when traveling so we can charge more than one thing at a time. These adapters were a little different than others I have purchased. You can see in the photo the front and top holes on the plug. We could only get our US plugs to go into the top slots on these. Normally you can also plug them into the lower holes on the face of the adapter, but this one would not allow that. We tried both the simple US plug and the fat/thin type and no amount of pushing, turning, shoving would make it go in. It became a problem for us because one of the US plugs we had was quite fat, the international converter being in the plug, and when plugged into the top of this adapter it prevented the adapter from pushing fully into the wall socket. We spent the entire trip rotating all our cables through a single small plug that would fit in the top and not push away from the wall socket. I hope this is clear. Another aspect of this is that many wall outlets in other countries are set in and not flush with the wall. We could not use that type of socket at all. Simply put: beware this will not work with bulky plugs or inset wall sockets.

Plug fried first time using
This product failed and caused quite a hassle.I bought this plug, went to Dublin, and happily plugged it in for the first time — it sparked then fried, my laptop with only 10% power left and me having 5 mins to join a business meeting.I had to walk 30 mins on cold Dublin streets at night, asked 3 stores and paid twice the price for a working one.My picture shows the bad plug and the good one I bought the last minute. It can be that I was unlucky and got a bad unit… Just saying. Please read the review with discretion.

Does the job
I got these because I had loads of items I brought back from HK to Canada. These work perfectly fine with HK 3-pronged plugs and convert easily to Canada's outlets (note: you need to ensure your device's input voltage can be used here though, these are not converters).Arrived quickly, I've already used 6 of these (I ordered 3 packs of 3). So far, so good.

It fits!!!
We had ordered a sanding tool but the seller didn't put in the description that it only worked with European hookup. The seller, after being notified, wouldnt take it back. Soooo, when the above item came. one of the units fit the plug so we can use it now. Yippy

Very Deadly Dangerous Product
We purchased this item for our trip to South Africa. About the 3rd time we used it, my wife was unplugging it from the wall and the whole thing came apart in 2 pieces. The part that was plugged into the socket stayed in and the outer part came off leaving the bare terminals exposed. Fortunately I was close by as she was going to unplug that part from the socket and screamed at her to not touch it. Had she done so, touching the bare terminals would have sent 240 volts through her body which would have undoubtedly killed her!! Do NOT purchase this item!!!

Excellent and cheap power outlet adapters for India
Cheap and simple power adapters for India. Not a power converter, as India uses 220V for all outlets so make sure that your plugs have an ability to accept different currents and voltages before using directly, otherwise you need to buy a power converter separately.

A piece of rubbish!
This thing is completely useless. Nothing plugged into it makes contact properly. I think the metal contacts inside it are too soft and not springy at all so that they bend away from the inserted plug pins and the slightest movement thereafter breaks one or other of the contacts. Unfortunately, I discovered this after I arrived in South Africa where I'll be until mid-November, so returning it is not even an option. I should have heeded the several earlier negative reviews, but I did not believe something this simple could be that bad. Well, it is!
