Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 1 (Volume 1) Paperback – 18 Jun. 2015

Wow! SO I started reading manga at the end of last year... Always been a fan of anime but never got around to reading the books. And up until now I've been buying the Viz 3-in1 Omnibus Editions of Naruro, One Piece, Dragonball etc etcThis is the first time I've bought a single volume (i also purchased Volume 1 of Bleach at the same time) and I was blown away by the sheer quality of this book! The pages feel strong and sturdy, the cover feels and looks great, even the font in the speech bubbles is impressive. If you enjoy collecting pretty manga this is one for you!I haven't even mentioned the actual story which is awesome , I read the entire thing is one sitting without putting in down once!Can't wait to order and read volume 2!!

I watched (and enjoyed) the anime a few months ago, but I just felt like there were some things that were missing, because sometimes things made little sense… so I decided to buy the mangas, and I am really glad I did!

I love this so so much.It’s perfect quality, amazing plot as expected, great illustrations.I absolutely love the anime so I of course wanted to check out the manga also!! So here I am, writing the review for my newly bought manga.Like I stated before, the illustrations are just amazing! And the plot makes it even better. 10/10 definitely recommend.Now for those of you who have never bought a manga before, (I wrote this in all my manga-related reviews as I was once in that position) please note that manga’s are actually made the opposite way around. So instead of reading this from left to right, you read it from right to left. No need to worry though, like me, you’ll get used to it in no time at all!!In fact, I’m much more adapted to this style rather than the typical one that’s used in the most common countries.If you’re debating whether to get this product or not, I say do it!! You definitely won’t regret it.In fact, I’m actually preparing to get the second one right after writing this!! Amazing!

Such a good book/manga but it did come with a tiny bit of damage (probably from shipping) its a great manga for someone who may wanna collect or get into it, it is i suggest 13+ because of its topics and possible gore

The story is amazing so far

I bought this book as part of my granddaughters birthday present. She was delighted with it, she loves manga books and anime films. Great present for her.

I saw the volume was reduced and I went for it. I found out about the series when the anime was still coming out and was hooked on the story right from the first episode. I found and binge read the manga; it was on my mind for a long time after. The anime went down hill, but that only highlighted how good the manga was to me.Something I never liked about vampires was that they don't really need to harm humans, but ghouls can't live without human meat. This book starts events for the main character, and the people he meets along the way. A great start. I recommend the series, and reading the first book is the best way to figure out whether it's for you. It is quite dark.
