JB's TREK Protein Power Bar Biscoff

These bars don't just fill you up but they feel really substantial like you've eaten 'real' food as opposed to a processed bar even though thats still what it is you can tell just by putting it in your mouth that's it healthier and more 'real' than grenade bars and the like. As for the bar itself, really nice taste and texture too. The chocolate alternative doesn't taste anything like chocolate imo but to be honest its better than the cheapo chocolate they put on the digestives these days! :P The filling is really good nutty flavour caramel and crispy pieces, takes some eating but again definitely less chewy and more 'real' feeling than others. If like me you have bad teeth the crunchy bits are a bit sharp and you might take small bites but if you have a good set of gnashers you'll love the extra crunch! They are massively expensive, thats the only downside but again with 16bars in a box they're still better priced than most others while being more natural makes them great value in comparison imo. Vegie/vegan too always a big bonus. I'm trying to find a - relatively - healthy way to get a bit of quick and extra protein into my diet which is naturally deficient and I think these bars are much more suited to my needs than others. 100% worth trying, hope you enjoy!

These bars are the best vegan protein bars I have been able to find! They really do taste like a real chocolate bar. 15g of protein is pretty good. As there are no sweeteners, you don't get that strange taste you get with many protein bars. Highly recommend. I have just eaten two in a row as they are so delicious. I will definitely be getting these again!

Firstly I'll start with taste and texture. For me these taste great, the texture is largely oaty with some chocolate and nothing tastes artificial. This compares very favourably against most protein bars. I prefer this to bulk munch, battle bites and grenade bars (some are exceptional such as Oreo and PB and jelly but different enough that they feel like a different type of snack/supplement). These do not taste artificial and I never get tired of them. Protein is okayish at about 15g and calories are around the 225 mark which is the same as a good 20g protein bar. I'd definitely buy again.

Delicious bars! A bit better price that buying individual 3-packs in Tesco. They have a lot of sugar but overall I think it’s a nice treat with a good protein amount. They don’t taste nasty like other bars.

I thought it was good, it does have a good amount of chocolate coating, but I wish it was even more chocolatey. I feel the batch was a mix, some tasted really good others tasted a bit more like protein powder. I think I would prefer next time buy a variety pack, not the same flavour so you don't get sick of it. Has a decent amount of protein in it though 15g!

One day I forgot to eat before gym and was feeling dizzy -so I picked something at random from the vending machine there. I just needed to take a few bites to feel better (so about half of the bar). I loved the crunchy texture, the orange flavour makes it taste overall really fresh and fruity, but not overly sweet, which is a big plus! It also doesn't have any artificial sweeteners so it was safe for me to eat. As soon as I went home I ordered this batch and was very happy with the delivery. As I said, they are very filling so I slice the bars in half for a quick pre workout snack.

OMG so delicious! Best tasting protein bars I've ever tried. Expensive so I don't buy often & I'm not sure they're worth the price however they're so tasty!

Product tastes awful. Having purchased these in the supermarket previously and thoroughly enjoyed them, these items tasted vile in comparison. Very short shelf life, which now explains the price. Packaging was also damaged as if it had been stored in a wet/damp area which was unappealing. Would avoid and recommend purchasing in the shop. I'd rather pay £4.50 in a supermarket for 3 then purchase these again. Force feeding myself and giving these away now.
