Easy to mix, pour and quick to set if brushed in thin layers
I used this resin in order to waterproof a wood project. Mixing was simple but use disposable cups to make clearing up quick and clean.I brushed the epoxy on and so far has kept the wood completely waterproof. I did do 3 coats as there was enough for my project. But I reckon 1 or 2 coats would have been enough. The resin cured clear and streak free. A heat gun after application with a brush removed brush strokes too if that is your desired effect. Recommend for DIY projects.

Eliminates the biggest hassle of resin, the mixing, but you need UV light to get best performance
We’ve been experimenting with resin casting for a few months now but we’ve never tried UV resins before. This was something of a trial and error to see if it’s something we want to pursue further. You get a 1kg jug of resin, which always sounds a lot but just isn’t. You get some disposable gloves and a lot of wooden mixing sticks should you wish to add colours. Normally you’d also use those stick for mixing the epoxies together, something which can be a pain to get correct, but with UV resin you don’t need to do that. The curing process is carried out by exposure to light and needs no further activation. To get the best performance out of this type of resin you ideally need a UV light, something which you’ll have to supply yourself. We do have a UV light so that was okay, but you may need to invest in one yourself. You don’t actually need a UV light as it will begin to cure in sunlight, but for the quickest curing you will want UV light otherwise you’ll be waiting a good quarter of an hour. The resin had a good consistency to it and we got repeatable results from our attempts. We are still novices at this sort of thing but we were happy with what we ended up with.Resin isn’t cheap, and this is evidence of that. But from what we’ve seen we’ll be quite happy to try it again when it runs out.

Good value resin
This is very reasonably priced resin and produces a good result. It has a great finish so it's perfect for arts and crafts. It cures nice and quickly. Basically it's everything you would expect from a UV resin and at a good price so I recommend it.

Great quality and finish
The resin came in a well-branded box along with instructions on how to use it. Despite being new to working with resin, I found the process relatively easy, thanks to some online tutorials and a mold that I could pour the resin into. I was able to create small charms and trinkets without much difficulty and hassle. The resin is cured perfectly under the right conditions and the finish is superb. Considering the price, I highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in getting into resin casting. It's an excellent option for beginners.

I’ve not mastered it yet….
… but think that is me. The instructional videos on here will take you so far, but really experience is key. Me and one of my kids encased a small Lego figure (sorry Spider-Man) and did it in layers. Unfortunately, what happened was that the top of each layer set, whilst the bottom of each layer didn’t. Could be a combo of the light (we used one of those UV nail lamps) and non transparent base. Even though I was being fairly careful, resin dripped from the opening of the container, causing a bit of mess, but think this is inherent in resin. Will try with this again in a few days, curing longer and using a clear plastic base for our frame so I can hit it from both sides. Now, where did we put Batman…?

Great quality
I am new to acrylic resin after wanting to make something in memory of my mum for family members. I looked at purchasing memorial items but everything is so expensive, so thought I would try to make my own and I am so pleased that I did.I have made some beautiful love hearts filled with flowers and a small jar of my mums ashes, they are so beautiful and after gifting one to each of my siblings, I am so happy with them. I have also been able to make earrings for my friends birthday gifts, again, so much cheaper than if I’d bought them.Using an LED heat lamp (same used for acrylic nails) the resin dries ever so quickly. You don’t have to pre mix, which I have had to do with others and it is so much hard work, I would rather pay a small amount extra to not have to use it!Really pleased with this product.
