this is perfect for a back packer or solo camper. light and compact it is easily portable. made out of this aluminum it is very light, but not terribly sturdy. don't bang them too much, lol.

This is not a safe product. Upon first usage, the rubberized handles melted leaving my hands covered in melted rubber and was burned by the melted rubber and hot metal. This is either a defective product or an overall safety concern for this product across the board. Either way, please be safe when using it as you may risk being burnt.

i do some camping. the set is kinda cheep. I don't think this product is made to last and not for a hard hiking trip i don't believe it would hold up. this is for day camp, fishing at campground.

These are great for camping and portability. I love that they're stainless steel, and not some sort of tin, though they do weigh a little more at 2 pounds for the set. They're very durable, and they all fit together to take up as little space as possible. The kettle fits inside the pot with the lid on, which fits in the pan. They're not large, but good for cooking for one or two people. I'm very happy with these.

Took this out on an overnight backpacking trip with the Scouts. They performed well cooking hot chocolate at night in the kettle and sausage and eggs in the morning. I did note that they were a little noisy during the hike, but not bad enough to annoy me. Clean-up was simple, but these are not non-stick, so it took a little scrubbing. These are not the sturdiest of pans, but they should last a while, long enough to get your moneys worth. Overall, good product.

I titled my review 'Not Usable Gear' to express my disappointment with the product. As an experienced hiker with over 30 years of experience and miles on the trails, I wouldn't even consider taking this kit on a day trip to the park. The overall quality of the product is comparable to a camping set for toddlers. The handle on the tea kettle is so poorly made that I am sure it will fall off after a few uses. Moreover, all the pieces fit together so loosely that they will rattle loudly in your backpack to the point of being annoying.I suggest a hard pass.

The cookware pieces nest well together, and the net bag allows for the cookware to air dry. The shiny smooth interiors of the pans should make them easier to clean. The pan bottoms have wide ridges instead of being completely flat. I don’t know the reason for these ridges, but will update my review if I find that they’re a problem. The frying pan has a thicker bottom than the pot which should distribute heat better during frying. The silicone handles are a good idea. I will probably leave the kettle behind because you can always use the pot to boil water. I appreciate the spout on the pot to make it easier to pour liquid. Overall, the cookware set has a good design. I’ll update this review if I find any problems during my next camping trip.

These are small, which is exactly what I wanted. Would be perfect someone hiking for a few days. Personally, I bought them for tailgating. I was constantly buying aluminum containers, which are good to a point, but they kept bending, folding, & getting damaged. Also, where I'm from it gets REALLY cold and we have a spout to wash our hands. Well, washing in freezing cold water is brutal. The teapot is the perfect answer. Heat that water up & mix it with some of the cold water & you'll thank me later!
