CyberLink PowerDVD 23 Ultra [PC Online code]

I needed software to play Blu Rays on Windows 11, and this worked and was very easy to setup.

They claim to be able to decode 4K 8K and UHDBDR, those claims are not true, when I contacted them and asked about it, they said there are too many different types, and they would not support UHD, 4k, or 8k any longer. That was almost 2 years ago, and they are still advertising that their software does UHD,4K, and 8K. Isn't that false advertising? Isn't that ILLEGAL?

it works with every format of video that i have been trouble getting to play. very sharp clear picture and great graphics for controls and settings. very pleased.

In order to watch blueray on a PC you need this...but they get you every year requiring a new subscription, therefore the price is too high. Won't be using it again

Allowed me to get the issue of playing DVDs on Windows 11 machines.Was shocked this was even a thing. Glad this existed.

Great product, but I’m disappointed that it no longer supports the PowerDVD Remote app. I’ll be using VLC Player since it has a Remote app to watch movies on my TV, and this if I’m sitting at my PC.

Regarding my 7 year-old version of Power DVD (v. 16), some sort of bug caused it to fail to uninstall correctly two months ago and now I have exceeded the number of authorized installs—and it can no longer be used. Since I bought it from a now-expired Amazon account there is no receipt available. Cyberlink is unable to find any record of my purchase in spite of giving them the date of purchase from Amazon, my old email, my name, and the unlock key required for installation! I will not be purchasing a Cyberlink product to solve this problem since they weren't able to maintain a record my Amazon purchase. Having said that, the software always worked well, including after it was 7 years old, which is why this is so frustrating. There wouldn't be any reason for me to repurchase a DVD/Blu-Ray playing software if (1) their uninstall software worked with Windows 11—which it has to because of their copy protection scheme OR (2) their internal company recordkeeping had worked.
