I'm happy with these guys. I hope they'll hold up in the weather under an overhang. I used them to mount my wife's wind chimes to a hook, so they can be easily removed in hurricane weather. I have them marked so I can order more if needed.

Exactly what I wanted! I originally got a few of these in 1” diameter for something else, but I liked them so much that I decided to get some of the 3/4” for my dogs’ tags. I like to be able to swap their tags out quickly, and this has been the *perfect* solution! They’re strong, sturdy, and sleek! And they come in multiple colors, which is great so I can match all the metals to keep my pups looking their best. 😉 I liked these so much, I ended up ordering more in the other colors. And the fact that there are 8 to a pack mean I can use the extras for other things, like key rings.

I use this as an alternative to key ring type fasteners on things that get removed fairly regularly. It's thick so items with small holes may not work but you can use small key rings and then loop them on to this.It works well and they hold up nicely. You get tons of them so if it goes I'll have another lined up.

You get what you pay for. They are good enough quality for decorative to light use.

I gave these two trys actually and was disappointed both times. First set I ordered, 4 of the 8 were bad. They either didn't close completely or were off alignment when closed, or there was too much play in the spring so it moved side to side easily.I returned them. Thinking it might be just a bad batch, I had them send me a replacement set.5 of those were bad and I felt like I could not rely on the rings to keep anything secured so returned them too for a refund.

It definitely feels heavy duty! The weight and thickness of it overall is great ( makes it feel more secure) and it has a strong spring inside it! Exceeded my expectations greatly! Highly recommend it!

My wife’s very expensive purse had 2 of these. One of them broke and wouldn’t stay closed. These were a good replacement although a bit thinner than the original.
