This is a great mattress!It is very light weight which is a huge plus for me as it makes it easier to lift in and out of the crib for wipe downs.It has a water proof cover and lock stitching to prevent and liquids from getting inside. Another huge bonus for me. My son is 2 now and unfortunately diapers just aren't doing as good a job as they used to as far as overnight protection goes. We ended up needing to replace the last mattress because it deteriorated and liquids started getting inside. I'm so glad we went with Kolcraft this time around.The mattress fit the crib perfectly! No gaps between the mattress and crib rails. We have a standard sized crib.It doesn't have any strong chemical smells. It's actually greenguard gold certified for indoor air quality and low chemical emissions.Overall I am very happy with this purchase, especially for the price! My son seems to find it comfortable as he is sleeping peacefully on it as I write this review.

Mattress is terribly hard and uncomfortable. Mine came with 3 holes in it. Not worth the money and would not recommend.

I wanted a cheap mattress that didn't feel TOO cheap (it was a baby shower gift) and this satisfied. It seemed like a moderate quality "this will do fine" mattress. I then went ahead and spent the money for a high quality mattress cover and some nice sheets to complete the package. My main hope was that the mattress would not be noisy, and it is not.

This mattress has more give than our other crib mattress. We own a soy bean foam core mattress for our 3 yo son and it is quite firm. I wanted to purchase something softer for our 6.5 month old daughter who co-sleeps at night with us and is use to our soft king sized bed. I opted for this one and I'm very pleased, it fits perfectly in her crib and has no odor. I like the durable clean easy plastic. I also like that it's made in the USA alot! I would highly recommend this one!

Great mattress, it's a little softer for my 2.5 year old on his toddler bed. He became restless on the very firm mattress, and this did the trick. It still has the waterproof cover on it so there's no fooling your toddler that it's the same as Mommy and Daddy's mattress ;) But all in all he loved it, and I got my bed back!

Cheaper to buy a crib mattress for a large dog and change the crib sheets then to buy a large dog bed.
