Often it is pursuing joy within the constraints of society, within the limitations of one’s own making, or getting into an alternate situation & dependency and coming back full circle to an another set of regrets. Again.The protagonist chooses not to accept the societal constraints & norms and circumstances & limitations in her life.Instead she charts a path for herself.And she finds beautiful things happening with herself and in her life. Detached and yet inter-connected. Living her passions and self-actualizing them. All leading toward greater joy. Greater poise.An inner oasis.

The book is easy reading and here the author has shared a very diffrent story. You will love with her writings after reading this story.

The title does not say exactly what is inside; because inside is a domestic thriller and not a plain comedy as the title suggests. It narrates a story of a Mumbai woman who knowingly or unknowingly follows the basic animal instincts of the female. Her goal is to become a mother. For this she needs a man. Once the child is born then her priorities shift and in the story, the family breaks up. The natural destination of a woman is to give birth and then watch her child grow despite many hurdles posed by social customs. The story ends abruptly and keeps the reader guessing as to what calamities the fractured family would encounter if it were to continue.

The book is qt average considering the plot that a very small story moves very slowly in the book.Use of the same vocabulaary again and again, u'll almost stop finding new words after 1/3rd of the book.I am not saying the book isnt good, its good.... 3/5

Another masterpiece by this author. This novel teaches us that a woman should never give up her Independence after marriage.

Easy read....enjoyableShanoy has done a great job coloring details throughout the book. Mumbai seemed to come alive- would recommend book to others.

This book keeps you looking for more after every chapter. It's not possible to stop. I really enjoyed reading this book ad found such simplicity and honesty in the authors outlook of this story. Preeti shenoy u will always remain my fav author .

The book is engaging and well written, however the story seems unreal and the language too simple. It's hard to believe that a father can be so detached to his own children as mentioned in the book.

As usual, Preeti Shenoy Ji stole the show, with her amazing narration of impact of true love and the support we get from friendship when all the options lead to dead ends, the title itself is peculiar, creating some sense of suspicion, and when I came to the context where the meaning of title was known, I burst into laughter delightfully, thought for a while and then it made more sense, the book has such a casual narration, giving the reader complete fun. And once again, there is a description of Kerala once again. You are tempting me so much Ji, I so badly want to visit kerala.! Such pure heavenly place.As I am done with your books, I am badly waiting for another book from you Ji.

This is yet another inspirational cum motivational book from Preeti Shenoy. The lucid illustrations mentioned in this book make reading enjoyable. I liked book from the very first page itself so much that I finished it in 4 hours at a go.The climax to the story that the author describes symbolizes unconditional love and affection. I thought Aksh and Nisha will settle down after getting married. But I was wrong. Its so unconditional and yet breath taking story. I wish the author could write a sequel to this story.This book I would recommend for those ladies who face problems like Nisha in the book. She was shattered when Sameer left her. But she was firm, strong and made her way to a new horizon in life.I wish I cud ever get such unconditional love in my life.
