Epson Claria Original Ink Cartridge Model T098120

Another satisfactory product. It performed according to specifications. I am happy with it.

I purchased several ink cartridges in 2015 and just now opened this particular black ink box in 2019 but the cartridge gets error message "not recognized" by printer. After research, I discovered counterfeit/remanufactured cartridges do not have "Epson" printed on the green/gold contact chip even though the box and wrapping looks the same. I compared the "new" cartridge to the old one I just removed and sure enough, the old, empty cartridge says "Epson" on the chip while the new, unrecognized one has no "Epson" stamp on it. Of course, I can't get a refund so long after purchase but I think it's a ripoff to sell these with no indication they are remanufactured (or third party or counterfeit.) It's probably safer to either buy directly from Epson or, if buying from Amazon, immediately open the box and look for the "Epson" stamp on the chip and return it if not present.

... but still less than the Epson site. I have been through many printers over the years and as a serious photographer, I tend to be pretty fussy. The Artisan 730 is a winner, due in part to the great quality of the inks.

I really don't know what to say. I know that it prints great on my epson artisian 837. So when the new one that I had to buy runs out I will use thhis one.

I'm not sure how many pages you can print with this but it seems to run out of ink kind of fast. Normal documents, text, some photos, but nothing drenching with solid colors.

This is, of course, the only ink my Epson printer will accept. It is also a great product and I always recommend using Epson Ink Cartridges. I think, as in my printer's case, if it makes your printer happy you will save yourself a lot of time and trouble by purchasing this product.

tried refills from third parties ... but a shot in the dark as to which offers OEM eqivalent ... I only buy direct from Epson even though ... like other original manufacturers... the price is on the high side. Epson is very good about shipping and getting it to me fast

I hate that one has to be stuck with a brand name ink until their printer dies. This ink is overpriced everywhere at least with HP one cam purchase generic in refills and save money. I hate that even if one doesn't use the color cartridges very often but if one gets empty your printer won't work.Otherwise if detail is all one wants Epson can handle that with high quality. It is such a shame that one can't get cheap black ink to run B&W
