Saw this Mountain Lake Shaving Company Beard Oil and thought I would get it for my husband Jim to try.My-oh-My, what a fabulous moisturizing and nourishing oil! Everything about it exceeded my expectations. High quality natural ingredients. Just need a couple drops at a time, and rub it into the desired skin area. And it is not just for beards, either. Jim is using this versatile oil on his beard, facial skin, and scalp with excellent results.I also tried this oil on my face and neck and loved it! Very moisturizing and did not irritate my very sensitive skin. The aroma of this wonderful oil is both soothing and calming. It reminds my of scents you would experience in a pine forest near a bubbling brook, just after a gentle rain.This oil is a great value, too. I highly recommend this product for both men and women.

This Mountain Lake beard oil arrived quickly, in a dark dropper bottle, with a suitably "artisan" label and feel appropriate to a small batch product. Regrettably (or not), I don't have a beard, but I gave it to my younger adult son who has been using beard oil for a while. He reports that it works "about like a decent beard oil," which, apparently, means it moisturizes and softens. He did, however, complain that he did not care for the "Mountain Original" scent. I would have to agree. It smells like spruce or some other evergreen, which isn't completely surprising, given the scent name, but it is not an especially pleasant version of that vibe. It reminded me of those scent sticks you can add to fake holiday trees, which are somewhat harsh and overwhelming. The smell of this product wasn't too strong at first, but I can't imagine wanting that aroma tucked just under my nose all day long, and he reported that the smell didn't really dissipate quickly. He brought it to the kitchen for me to sniff, and left it there. A few days later, it's still sitting on the shelf in the kitchen and he doesn't smell like a high-altitude forest. Take from that what you will.

I am very impressed with this beard oil. I value my beard highly and always want to treat it the best that I can. Honestly, this product was among my favorites I have used. The packaging is manly and appealing. The smell is really good. It is a faint (not overpowering) vanilla scent. The ingredient list looks natural. Most importantly, it makes my beard look and feel healthy and happy and my skin feels moisturized and refreshed. I would highly recommend this beard oil for anyone looking for a great way to improve their facial hair and feel confident. You will not be disappointed!

I love the scent of this beard oil. It smells like I’m walking through a pine forest after a fresh rain. The pine is a very distinguished scent in this oil, and I love it. Every candle and freshener I own has a pine scent to it, so it was only natural for me to order this beard oil so my husband’s beard could smell like gentle pine. He has allergy issues so couldn’t smell it as well as I could, but he loved the way it made his beard feel. Since it’s winter, it makes the skin under his beard itch, and he said that the most noticeable thing about this oil was that it eliminated that issue. We loved this oil so much, we ordered another bottle in the lake drift scent. Great beard oil all around!

This MOUNTAIN LAKE SHAVING Co. Small Batch Men’s Beard Oil is really nice and works as expected on my beard. My favorite thing about it, though, is the vanilla scent. It's not exactly what most people would consider a masculine scent, but I'm kind of tired of smelling like a wild badger, pipe smoke, or a redwood forest. I also have allergies and hate overpowering scents. Not a problem with this beard oil! It's got a sweet, subtle vanilla scent that's really very nice. I'm a fan.

This oil has a nice, light vanilla smell.It goes on about as well as any other beard oil I've ever used. I prefer this smell to my usual choice and at half the price, that makes it a pretty good bargain to me.The only downside, as I see it, is that other bottles I've gotten have offered the choice of a dropper (default) or a spray attachment for application. Since it's an oil and tends to not come off the hands without effort, I've appreciated being able to sprints other oils on my beard and work it in with my fingers rather than putting it in the palm of a hand and working them together to then try to transfer it.I feel like the spritzing approach also gets more of it in the beard and less of it left behind to be washed and wiped off the hands.Having said that, they all seem to come in a standard size and the spray cap off the others fits this so going forward, I'll probably just apply it with that.

I've been using the MOUNTAIN LAKE SHAVING Co. Small Batch Men’s Beard Oil in Vanilla, and I really like it. The scent is good, not too strong, which I like. My wife likes it too and comments about it every time I wear it. It's not overpowering like some other brands I've tried. I prefer fruity scents, and this one is right up my alley. So far, it's been enjoyable to use and the price point isn't bad either, I will likely come back for more or try out a different scent. I feel it helps soften my beard as my wife hasn't been complaining about it being rough as she normally does.

MOUNTAIN LAKE SHAVING Co. Small Batch Men’s Beard Oil, is an excellent quality beard oil. Beard oil absorbs well into beard with ease and doesn't leave behind any oily residue like some cheaper beard oils. The scent is excellent and lasts several hours, has a slight Vanilla and fine tobacco back end. Overall very pleased with it and will be ordering some more when I run out.
